S: Las materias de la escuela.
T: yes, it is about school subjects and it gives information about the subject of a
school.
Ok! Let’s do exercise 2, you have to match the name of the subject with the
correct picture. Ok? Have you understood?
S: Yes!
T: Ok! Come on! Let’s do it!
Teacher will give some minutes to do the activity and then they will check.
T: Have you finished?
S: Yes!
T: ok! Which pictures go with letter A?

S: Me! School around the world!
T: Right! what can you see in the pictures? What subject do think they have?
S: They ‘ve got art!
T: Yes! That’s right! Ok! Now we are going to read the text and answer some
questions
(teacher will give some minutes to read the text and in order to practice speaking
they will answer the questions from the book orally, they can also take some
notes if they want)
T: Ok! Now we are going to answer the questions, but I want to listen to you. Ok?

true or false! But pay attention! You have to justify your answer with the example
of the text.
1-Joshibi is a school for boys and girls
2-Joshibi has two high schools
3-At Joshibi, students go to school five days a week.
4-Science and technology aren’t obligatory subjects
5-Junior High School students have four hours of art classes per week.
6-Students have three holidays periods.
Teacher will check orally with the students
Transition: Ok! Well done! Now we are going to analyze some sentences!

Activity 3 20’
Teacher will write some sentences from the previous text in order to show them
some examples of the present simple tense and review the structure.
Note: The teacher had explained the tense at the beginning of the year, however
she told me to continue with the book and give students activities to fill in the
gap.
T: Ok! Now I will write some sentences in the blackboard!
1-I go to the Junior High School
2-We don’t go to school five days a week. We go six!
3-We study obligatory subjects.
4-She doesn’t have four hours of art classes per week.
5-She also studies art history and she loves it.
T: Ok! Let’s read them all together!
When do these actions happen? Are these actions in the present or in the past?
S: In the present!
T: Yes! That’s right! Very good! Are they habits and routines?
S: Yes!
T: Yes! Excellent! These actions are in present simple because they happenin the
present and they ae habits or routines.
And can you identify which sentences are negative?
S: Yes, number 2 and 4
T: Yes! Excellent!! We turn the sentences in negative using don’t and doesn’t!
Very good!!
And what happens when we talk about she, he and it? Do you remember?
S: Le agregamos s
T: yes! That right! We add “-s” to the verb!
Ok! Now we are going to open the book at page 20!
On exercise 1 you have to complete the sentences using the correct form of the
present simple
1-Anna_______(go) to The School of Performing arts
2-She__________(study) preforming arts.
3-Classes_________(start) at 8.45 in the morning
4-Anna and her classmates________(Like) music.
5-Anna__________(sing) and she plays the guitar.
6-She__________(love) her school!
Teacher will give some minutes to complete and then they will check orally.
Transition: Well done! What about the negative? Let’s practice a little more.
Activity 4 15’
Teacher will give activities so that students practise the negative form of the
present simple.
T: Ok! Now we are going to make sentences that are true for you!
Look at the exercise 2! You have 5 sentences. You have to write the negative, and
then the affirmative according to you!
For example: I go to The School of Performing Arts.
I don’t go to The School of Performing Arts.
I go to Instituto Don Bosco.
Have you understood?
S: Yes!
T: Ok! Let’s work!
Teacher will give time to students to do the activity.
