The student teacher had a positive primary school teaching practicum experience. They were nervous about their first lesson but the students surprised them by being receptive. The experience exceeded expectations and showed that students can achieve objectives when engaged through good resources and activities that capture their attention. Going forward, the student teacher wants to incorporate more activities developing critical thinking and different skills like speaking. The practicum gave them confidence that they can achieve their goals through perseverance. It also highlighted the need to be prepared to work with diverse student needs. The supervising teacher congratulated them, saying students enjoyed the lesson. Overall, the student teacher enjoyed the experience and bonding with the kind students.

Afterfinishing thisperiod,there aremany feelingsthat
appear.
Firstof all, Ihaveto mentionthattheschool was very
pleasant tome.They were so attentivetoeverythingthat
Ineeded.Evenso, theteacherwas very generous and
friendly,she sent medifferentmessagesthroughout the
period tooffermeher help.
As Regardsstudents, theywere amazing.Duringthe
observationperiod theywere interestedinme.They
askedmany thingsto meand were interestedinwhat I
was doingthere. However, theirbehaviour wasn’t the
bestwiththeirteacher.
Imust confess thatIwas veryfrightenedto givemyfirst
lesson. Ithoughtthatthey would misbehaveand I
wouldn’t finishthe lesson.
However, theysurprised me and werevery receptiveto
everythingIsaid.

didn’tbelieve thatIcould doit.Then,afterthefirst
lesson, Igainedconfidenceand Idecidedtogivemybest.
Ontheother hand, students showed me thattheycan
reach anyobjectives iftheteacherprovides themwith
good resources. Ihave learnt thatitisveryimportant to
givestudents activitiesthatcalltheirattention,and
incorporate asmany resources aswe can.

IfIhave tochangesomething from these lessons, itwould
bethe timeperlesson. Ithink thatifthelesson would be a
littlelonger itwould bepossible to develop another kind
ofactivitieswhichcould expand theircreativityor
somethingrelated withart.Those kinds ofactivitiesare
very enjoyable for students.
For my futurelesson I willtrytoincorporate more
activitiesthataimatdevelopingcriticalthinkingandthe
differentskills. Icould payenough attentiontospeaking,

To conclude, Iamfond of thisperiod.The students were
very kindand wemanaged togeneratea verynice bond.
