Management in an Art Team is a
combination of creativity
and structure, an inspiring
atmosphere, and clear project goals.

  • 3. Agenda In this presentation I will share my approach in managing a Team of Artists. It will cover following major topics: ● Goals of effective management ● Main principles I follow: ➔ Structure ➔ Communication ➔ Creative Environment ➔ Recruiting ● Conclusion
  • 4. Goals of effective managment Management in an Art Team is a combination of creativity and structure, an inspiring atmosphere, and clear project goals. How it can be achieved? Next slide!
  • 5. Key points that I will be talking about ● Structure (Clear goals, well defined tasks, reasonable deadlines, task pipeline. Transparent responsibilities of each team member and role) ● Communication (Building Trust, Feedback, "Help, not command" approach, Discussion, 1-to-1s) ● Creative Environment (Work-Life Balance, Education, Leadership) ● Recruitment (Soft skills vs Hard Skills)
  • 6. Structure: what does it mean? It's good to establish rules and clear goals within the team. By doing this, you can create a positive environment that supports creativity.
  • 7. Structure I can break it down into the following categories: ● team rules ● roles and responsibilities ● clarity of processes ● guides and manuals ● clear and understandable tasks
  • 8. Communication: queen of awesome Art Communication is not only just interaction among employees or between employees, managers, and departments.
