Procedure is a step/way for work or activity to complete the work by the time sequence and
has a fixed pattern of work that has been specified.
Generic Structures :
Aim/ goal : The final purpose of doing the instruction (the title)
Material : Materials and tools needed.But not all need this stage procedure text.
Steps : The step to do the activities.
language features :
1. Using the simple present tense
2. Using temporal conjunction [first, then, next, finally,etc]
3. Using action verbs [ click,add, view, fill, etc]
Social function :
To describe something which is accomplished through a sequence of action or steps.
THE EXAMPLE OF PROCEDURE
1. Goal/ aim : How to make a blog.
2. Materials : Internet,email,notebook.
3. Steps : See the example of How to make a blog.

1. First make an email account with google mail. Actually we can use another email, but
it's better if we use gmail account.

You may change the language tu understand step easily.

Title, is the place for your blog’s title.Blog title should be unique so that is not the
same with other people's blogs.
Address,is the place for your address’ blog.You may use alphabet and numbers, and
use your name to remember easily.
Template, is the example of your blog’s display.
After you do all, you may click create blog.
7. Then you will see the display like below.
In this point, you have already start blogging.
8. You may click start blogging . after that you may start enter your post like below.
4. In this view:
Post title, is the place to write the title of our posting.
The function of icons have same function with Ms.Office.
You may do Copy Paste to write your post easily.
After you enter your post, you may click save,to save yours.
9. Then you may click publish to publish your post. After that, click view blog that it will
show the result like below.
10. If you want to create a new post more then just click new post.
You can redesign the display your blog according to you.
