1.1.3. EDIBON Profile.
EXPERIENCE: We are working in the area of Technical Teaching Equipment since more that 35 years ago. We design
and manufacture Teaching Units since more than 25 years.
TECHNICAL STAFF: We have a high level technical team of more than 50 engineers , most of them are continuously
developing new teaching equipment. Our staff is able to design and specify complete turn-key projects for complete
Training Centres for Higher Education, for Technical and Vocational Education, even for Secondary Schools.
We offer training, “teachers training”, even technology transfer, by using our own engineers involved in
designing, manufacturing and doing quality control.
RESEARCH DEPARTMENT: We have more than 10 engineers carrying out research, so that EDIBON can:
Design the manuals. They are entirely written by our engineers.
Design the the electronic interfaces. We have designed more than 2000 different types of units.
Design the software. We have developed more than 1800 different software packages for different units.
Design the units themselves.
LEVEL OF OUR TECHNOLOGY: EDIBON offers the Highest Technology in the world in the field of the Technical
Teaching Equipment. Many of our Teaching Techniques and Units are “unique” and they are EDIBON registered
trademarks.

1.1.3. EDIBON Profile.
PRODUCTS: We produce about 3000 different “Technical Teaching Units” in most of the technical areas, such as
Electronics, Electricity, Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, etc. (Additional information can be obtained
visiting our WEB Site: www.edibon.com). All products are 100% own design, 100% own manufacturing, and 100% own
quality control.
FACTORIES: We manufacture in our own factories in Leganés – Madrid (Spain).
MANUFACTURING: We produce our equipment, even including many mechanical pieces which are made in our lathes
and mailing machines. What is not available in the market, we make it. The standard components (mother
boards, aluminium profiles, metallic tanks ...etc) are subcontracted.
TECHNOLOGY STRUCTURE: EDIBON has a strong structure which allows us to manufacture
not only small teaching units but also big and sophisticated equipment such as, for example:
Power Plant Simulator. (More than 1M EUR sales price). Refinery and Process Control System, controlled from a local net
with 30 computers for the students. Several ESN (EDIBON Scada – Net) supplied to Pakistan, India, Nigeria. Many others
will be supplied soon.
CUSTOMERS: About 98% of our production is exported to Higher Education Institutions,
Technical and Vocational Schools all over the world. We have supplied equipment to more than 100 countries (either
industrialised or less developed ones).
PRICES: We have very competitive prices in a wide range of products.
TURNOVER: Our turnover is increasing drastically every year.

2.3.1 d) EDIBON Computer controlled units references
EDIBON has designed and produces more than 200 different Computer Controlled units.
ALL EDIBON COMPUTER CONTROLLED UNITS USE “C”, AS THE LAST LETTER IN THE REFERENCE.
Example:
TAAC: Air Conditioning Unit.
PBOC: Pumps Test Set.
UDCC: Distillation Column.
The last “C” means “Computer Controlled”.
What mean the other letters?
“T” at the beginning, in many cases related with the area. In case of “T” it is for “Thermodynamics”.
The other letters in the middle use to be in many cases, the first letters of the unit name but some items in
Spanish and in most cases in English.

The Ministry of..................................... /The Chancellor of………………………….
His Excellency,
We have been informed of the high interest of your Ministry /University in improving the Technical Education at (1) Technical and
Vocational level and (2) Higher Education level (choose (1) or (2) two depending on the Ministry).
Our company has designed and manufactured in Madrid
– Spain more than 3.000 different, teaching units with top and modern technology. All of these units can be offered and used at
the laboratories, either to practice and/or research and/or to simulate real industrial processes. We can offer to cover most of the
technical areas regularly taught in all Technical Training Centers. Our web www.edibon.com shows all the units and complete
laboratories.
Our SCADA-NET system allows 30 students to run experiments at the same time. Our technology offers to have the classroom and
the laboratories at the same place.
We can design for your institution, “free of charge”, all kind of Educational Laboratories to allow you to see the best options using
the latest and newest teaching technologies and without any obligation from your side. We have available several finance and
grants options too.
To continue advancing we will appreciate you to address us a Letter of Interest in our designs and financial assistance availability.
We are looking forward to receiving your response.
Yours faithfully,

ALWAYS SUCCESS
EDIBON has long experience and proper contacts for getting success whenever
you initiate a TKP.
With TKP you are always “playing” with two possibilities:
You do not get success: If this is the case, you have introduced the EDIBON
specifications and you can be “unique” if customer buys through a tender. We
have this experience in many countries as India, Nigeria, Peru, etc.
You do get success: In this case, not only you get a big amount of money but
you get an excellent reputation and you can continue with other TKP. To get
success for the first time is hard, but the second time is much easier.

Any country will grow very fast by training the human resources with our
technology. EDIBON can not only design technically any project, but also get
financing in good conditions. The procedure would be as follows:
Your Training Institution customer issues a Letter of Interest (we have a draft
ready).
As soon as we receive this Letter of Interest we design, “free of charge”, all the
laboratories for the Training Centre.

The customer can make modifications to our design (normally not too much).
After this, we know the final project design and the cost.
Once we have defined the final project and its total price,
the options are:
- The end customer starts to buy units, in accordance with our design.
- You can use the design to ask for money to your State Government.
- EDIBON can get good financing for part or the whole amount of the project.

As you may know EDIBON produces the widest range of Technical Teaching
Equipment for being used at Higher, Technical or Vocational education.
The equipment can also be utilised for training at big industrial level in different
fields, such as Energy, Oil, etc.
Our technology, in most of the cases, is unique and it is very attractive for all the
potential customers, as they can teach properly.
Additionally, with no extra cost, they can do applied research and demonstrate
how the industrial process works.

We recommend you to sell our technology, usually very attractive for professionals
and politicians, using the following important arguments:
a) We use Computer Controlled units, with SCADA (unique in the teaching market).
b) We use SCADA – NET that allows 30 students to work at the same time, so both
the teacher and the student efficiency increase very much. (EDIBON design, so it is unique).
c) We can use laboratory and classroom at the same place (modern and future
system). (Only EDIBON offers it).
d) We have several Quality Certificates....and many more.
We recommend you to see in details our many new units at our WEB Site:

3.3.1c/2) TKP arguments and philosophy
Let me insist to you on the fact that financing is not the most important issue
when you initiate a Turn Key Project. “The most important subject for doing
business in Technical Education in your country is the TECHNOLOGY”.
With high technology and with the specifications of the EDIBON units, you can be
sure of the success of your future business.
The financing will be coming later. EDIBON can offer several financing
possibilities, even grants in some cases, but nothing can be done until we have
defined the project with the end customer.

3.3.1c/2) TKP arguments and philosophy
We strongly recommend you to create the needs, to contact with your potential
customers. As soon as you have potential customers, we will design technically the
project. Our designs are “ALWAYS” attractive for customers.
If you send us the names of the institution and the responsible person, we can send
you an introductory letter addressed to that person.(see “drafts” attached).
The most important part of the business is to agree with the end customer about
the content of the project. A big amount, in terms of money, never is a
problem, as the project can be executed in steps.
After the project has been defined we can give you the proper instructions and
recommendations for getting success. At that moment we will concentrate on
getting financing in very good conditions.
Therefore, please find the potential customers and let us know.

Firstly you need to find the potential customers. You can find two type of them:
a) Public Training Centres. In the case of Universities you can contact with
the Chancellor (Rector) or Dean of Engineering. In the case of Technical and
Vocational centres you have to contact with the Ministry of Education and
with the Ministry of Labour.
b) Private Training Centres. You should contact with the owners and to take
into account that they will usually prefer to use for the project the available
cheap loans and to use their own money for other purposes.
IMPORTANT! We can send you a letter for “opening the contact door” with any customer.

The importance of technical education for the progress of your country.

The good image that the politicians can get when the inauguration takes place.
EDIBON can ensure full project success.
The national social impact for the citizens and for several ministries.
The chance of getting goods with top technology and cheap loans.
The most important fact is that the end customers can understand that they do
not pay, your government is the one who pays, so this is an excellent “free of
charge” chance. The end customer has to push, to work a little and to press some
organisations in your country.
There are also others arguments you can get after deep analysis.

EDIBON experience with:
Projects and TKP, since we have executed many projects in several countries.
Equipment and software design.
Manufacturing Teaching Equipment.
Training, by using our own engineers.
Financing. We offer several financing possibilities.
This type of project can give access to free of charge money for applied research, other
projects and for handling autochthonous products, social and technological contents
projects, even other self-financed projects.
The several financial options that EDIBON always offers are a good additional
argument for convincing the customer.
In many cases the EDIBON offer can be considered as SELF FINANCED PROJECT.
It is very important you to explain to the customer that to design a TKP costs a big amount
of money, but you can manage to get EDIBON to design the project “free of charge”.
