bacteria and microorganisms in an increased amount that are not its
natural components.

the introduction of inorganic, organic and radioactive substances.
5. Main cause of water pollution in Poland
The main cause of water degradation in Poland is sewage discharged from
industrial and municipal sewage systems.
6. Point pollutants
They are so-called point pollutants and include water used in production and
service facilities.
7. Potable water is constantly monitored
The amount of drinking water is constantly monitored and its quality classified
according to the degree of pollution. In Poland, in 1993, approximately 12,278
million m3 of water was used.
10. In Tenerife, water pollution is not a serious
problem
In Tenerife, the level of water pollution is low because there are few factories,
arable fields and sewage outflows.
11. It is estimated that Tenerife has one of the smallest water pollution in the world.
Therefore, it is possible to see up to 25 meters down into the ocean at some point
near the island.
