7. Question 1: How often do you watch thrillers?
These results suggest that most people (80%) watch a thriller 1-2 times a
month. This whole point of this question is to get a basic understanding of
the popularity of the genre. The results clearly show how every individual
asked, watches a thriller regularly.
8. Question 2: What type of Thriller is your favourite?
This question got mixed results. Action Thrillers and Physiological Thrillers
came joint top at 40%, while torture got 20%. This question will help have a
significant effect on the planning of the final thriller as it suggests what is the
most popular type of thriller is. This will help during the planning of the final
thriller.
9. Question 3: What makes a thriller the most exhilarating for you?
These results were very close. However, Psychological is more popular than a
shock thriller. This is possibly because a Physiological is more interactive with
the user and involves more thinking. This is important when making a film. A
shock last only a few seconds; although this is very effective, it doesn’t have
a long lasting effect on the audience.
10. Question 4: Does the involvement of children or vulnerable people make
a thriller more exhilarating; in contrast to a strong character?
The result shows a clear winning; yes. The utilization of a child or vulnerable
person makes the thriller more exciting for the viewer. This is because it adds
a lot more tension to the film as someone who appears to be weak can still
remain intimidating; and can even be the villain.

The analysis clears shows that a thriller is commonly
watched. We can also learn that action/psychological
thrillers are preferred among the people asked the
questions. The use of valuable individuals such as
elderly people or children has a substantial and
positive on the audience.
