MEDIA PRODUCT?
My media product is called The Rewrite, we created the opening sequence too a
thriller movie. Before planning the story of the movie, you must always start with the
audience research and work back to the product. This ensures that you get the best
story line and product for your target audiences, with the help of the results of the
audience research.
2. The image of the graph on the right
shows the graph of results of the ages of
the participants who answered our
questionnaire was. The results show that
55% of the participants were aged
between 15 and 17. This sets our target
audience to be for this age group in
particular.

20% of the 60 watch thrillers
for the thrill, and only one of
the 60 watch thrillers to be
scared. These results show
that The Rewrite has too be
entertaining and thrilling to fit
and please our target
audience.
5. How does our target audience feel
when watching a thriller movie?
The graph on the right shows
how the participants of the
audience research feel when
watching a thriller movie. 4 of
the 59 who answered this
question feel scared, 18 of the
49 feel excited, 1 of the
participants feel worried and
31 of these feel captured. This
shows that the target
audience for our product
should feel mainly captured
by the events and story line of
the product.
