This document summarizes the results of a survey about thriller film preferences. It finds that most respondents were 15-17 years old, female, and preferred action and supernatural subgenres. The favorite film cited was "The Conjuring." Suspense was the most important aspect, with music found to be the most effective way to build suspense. Dark, isolated settings were preferred over cities. Respondents wanted to be entertained from the very beginning. A common fear mentioned was clowns.
