I have made this so I can
have a plan of what I need

poster and all. They styles
and signals that I will people
on so that people can get an
idea of what the festival is
about.

Slogan
The slogan for my festival will be ‘enjoying life’
this is so when people read this they will feel
happy and safe this will draw in more customers.
Also is helps people to think think that this
festival will not disappoint as they are making it
fun and enjoyable.
Frequency of release
My target audience will want to know who is performing at the
festival so it is important that I releases the names of the acts
at the right time so I will start with the bigger names in music
as this is what will bring in the most customers. Then the other
acts will be released after also with special gests as this will
boost sales.
Festival names
Run Down : This suggests that the festival would be
ruff and not well put together however it is more
about the location which is on the cliffs and beach’s.
Beach Bound : This name suggests a holiday which
people will think about good times that they have
had growing up going on holidays this is a good way
to bring people by making them think of good
times.
Marketing
I will being using posters to advertise my festival. This
is because the posters are cheap and easy to
distribute around to people
Colour Scheme
My colour scheme will be all bright colours there
will be no set colours that are link to the festival
because the festival is all about how people can
be different so people just see all colours when
think of the festival.
Target Audience
My target audience is going to
between 18-35 They will most
likely be in the social groups from
B to D. This is because these fit to
together with the ages that I has
aimed my target audience to be. I
also know that the tickets are
expensive and people would
mostly need to be earning a form
of income.
Campaign message
I want people to be able to have fun and to fully express them selves when at this
festival. The point of it being in a really nice location is that that people will be able
to be a home when at the festival and to feel safe, but should still feel free to let off
steam and really enjoy all the amazing music that they festival has put together for
every one no matter what they are in to.
I have been sponsored by tileyard studios which is a big recording studios complex
which has helped me to get a lot of the more famous people to come and perform.
I have been sponsored by coca cola and mc Donald's which are both in the food
industry so if I make sure that when I am advertising my festival I will need to
mention then just like the other brands.
Finally Toyota are putting in money so that the name of their brand can get out
more to younger people as my target audience is between 18 – 35 but they also
want mentions and to be on any advertisement that are going to be published.

gives me an idea of what I will do for the final design and what will work best for my target

From looking as the Glastonbury poster I have taken inspiration. I have tried to change the layout a bit so it is not as
dramatic as the other one. But the structure of the Glastonbury I svery nice to look at with all the colours on it so I
thought I would use this as well.

be going with to take these photos.

the right one for my poster just in case some of them are not up to
the standard that I want them to be.
Budget Summary
To advertise my festival in a magazine it will cost me £115 for
one full page advert. I will need to advertise this over around 6
mouths before the festival this will cost me £690. This will be
good money spent, as lot of people are going to see this
magazine. I was also need to pay for lots of equipment such as
the publishers they will need to be payed. So these types of

Risk assessment
Photography Risk assessment
Because of the location of my images I needed to complete a location recce. This is because there is
a small chance that I might injure myself when I am take these photos this might be the sea or it
could be someone running past. People could also complain about my photo as it will be published
a lot so I need to make sure that I am protected.
Area Risk Assessment
Before I take the photo I need to check the area is safe as it could change from where I have been
there before. This might be because of the weather.
Software Risk Assessment
When editing the photos I need to make sure that when resizing the images that I do not make then
pixilated. To make sure that I do not do this I will take the image in 4k and I will hold shift when
resizing the image on photoshop.
Issues (Regulatory, Legal and Ethical)
Content that usually has copyright can be referred to as Intellectual Property (IP)
and this is protected by the law. IP can be divided into two categories; Industrial
Property and Copyright. As well as IP on printed work, you can get a digital
watermark which protects any copyrighted content from any magazine online and
in any digital format. It is important to have this because it means people will have
to pay you to use your information and ideas. The best way to protect your IP is to
acquire a patent. However, this can take several years to get and costs over £5000.
The Data Protection Act 1998 is an act of the United Kingdom Parliament showing
the ways in which information about people may be legally used and handled. The
main intent is to protect individuals against misuse or abuse of information about
them.
I will always make sure that I follow buy these rules when making and producing
my posters and creating the festival
Copyright
Copyright is a legal law that stops people from copying other peoples
work. This could include print based products or online products. In
1980 it changed so that the creator can write their own laws to suite
their own product. This means that they then have there ownership
right so that if people try to use their image or product to make money
or they can be sued.

Festival Pitch Proposal Summary

  • 2. Proposal I have made this so I can have a plan of what I need and want from creating m poster and all. They styles and signals that I will people on so that people can get an idea of what the festival is about.
  • 3. Mind map Mind map Slogan The slogan for my festival will be ‘enjoying life’ this is so when people read this they will feel happy and safe this will draw in more customers. Also is helps people to think think that this festival will not disappoint as they are making it fun and enjoyable. Frequency of release My target audience will want to know who is performing at the festival so it is important that I releases the names of the acts at the right time so I will start with the bigger names in music as this is what will bring in the most customers. Then the other acts will be released after also with special gests as this will boost sales. Festival names Run Down : This suggests that the festival would be ruff and not well put together however it is more about the location which is on the cliffs and beach’s. Beach Bound : This name suggests a holiday which people will think about good times that they have had growing up going on holidays this is a good way to bring people by making them think of good times. Marketing I will being using posters to advertise my festival. This is because the posters are cheap and easy to distribute around to people Colour Scheme My colour scheme will be all bright colours there will be no set colours that are link to the festival because the festival is all about how people can be different so people just see all colours when think of the festival. Target Audience My target audience is going to between 18-35 They will most likely be in the social groups from B to D. This is because these fit to together with the ages that I has aimed my target audience to be. I also know that the tickets are expensive and people would mostly need to be earning a form of income.
  • 4. Campaign message I want people to be able to have fun and to fully express them selves when at this festival. The point of it being in a really nice location is that that people will be able to be a home when at the festival and to feel safe, but should still feel free to let off steam and really enjoy all the amazing music that they festival has put together for every one no matter what they are in to. I have been sponsored by tileyard studios which is a big recording studios complex which has helped me to get a lot of the more famous people to come and perform. I have been sponsored by coca cola and mc Donald's which are both in the food industry so if I make sure that when I am advertising my festival I will need to mention then just like the other brands. Finally Toyota are putting in money so that the name of their brand can get out more to younger people as my target audience is between 18 – 35 but they also want mentions and to be on any advertisement that are going to be published.
  • 6. Hand drawn drafts These hand drawn drafts give me an idea of what I am am going to do for my festival poster and gives me an idea of what I will do for the final design and what will work best for my target audience.

  • 8. Logo design From looking as the Glastonbury poster I have taken inspiration. I have tried to change the layout a bit so it is not as dramatic as the other one. But the structure of the Glastonbury I svery nice to look at with all the colours on it so I thought I would use this as well.

  • 12. Location Recce Before I take any of the photos for my poster I need to complete a location recce this will show me what hazards may come up and how I will avoid them to stay safe. It will also protect anyone that I might be going with to take these photos. Location Time Date Why I will be taking my photos on the beach in the evening of summer in Cornwall this is so I can get photos of a clear sun set on the beach. Picture Shot type Equipment Why The shot type will be wide long shot this is so I can capture the full experience of the beach so people will really want to come. For this I will need a camera that takes high quality photos and a wide lends Permission needed Contact needed? I do not need to contact anyone before I use these images because the area that I have taken the photos of is public land and the is no one in the picture. Potential Hazards As I will be taking these photos on the beach so I will need to time it right so that the tide on the beach does not come in when I am tiring to take them

  • 14. Budget Summary To advertise my festival in a magazine it will cost me £115 for one full page advert. I will need to advertise this over around 6 mouths before the festival this will cost me £690. This will be good money spent, as lot of people are going to see this magazine. I was also need to pay for lots of equipment such as the publishers they will need to be payed.   • 15. Risk assessment Photography Risk assessment Because of the location of my images I needed to complete a location recce. This is because there is a small chance that I might injure myself when I am take these photos this might be the sea or it could be someone running past. People could also complain about my photo as it will be published a lot so I need to make sure that I am protected. Area Risk Assessment Before I take the photo I need to check the area is safe as it could change from where I have been there before. This might be because of the weather. Software Risk Assessment When editing the photos I need to make sure that when resizing the images that I do not make then pixilated. To make sure that I do not do this I will take the image in 4k and I will hold shift when resizing the image on photoshop.
  • 16. Issues (Regulatory, Legal and Ethical) Content that usually has copyright can be referred to as Intellectual Property (IP) and this is protected by the law. IP can be divided into two categories; Industrial Property and Copyright. As well as IP on printed work, you can get a digital watermark which protects any copyrighted content from any magazine online and in any digital format. It is important to have this because it means people will have to pay you to use your information and ideas. The best way to protect your IP is to acquire a patent. However, this can take several years to get and costs over £5000. The Data Protection Act 1998 is an act of the United Kingdom Parliament showing the ways in which information about people may be legally used and handled. The main intent is to protect individuals against misuse or abuse of information about them. I will always make sure that I follow buy these rules when making and producing my posters and creating the festival
  • 17. Copyright Copyright is a legal law that stops people from copying other peoples work. This could include print based products or online products. In 1980 it changed so that the creator can write their own laws to suite their own product. This means that they then have there ownership right so that if people try to use their image or product to make money or they can be sued.
