COSTUMES, ACTORS
AND PROPS
 Jack – “Toby”
 I will be using my cousin Jack to play the role of
Toby, the child in my film.
I believe that Jack is the best person to play this role
as I know him very well so co-operation will be
extremely easy and he has the perfect look for the
character I imagined when creating Toby.
In the first two minutes of my film I have decided that Jack will
wear this “onesie” and this is mainly because of the colour. I really
like how it was red to resemble the
danger that he is creating and the “Angry Birds”
can create the childish spin in the anger and
danger that he makes/creates but it’s also
very childlike and could come across as a playful
childs “onesie”.
ACTORS AND COSTUMES
 Sarah – Sarah “Mum”
 I have chosen Sarah Hearn to play the role of the mother in my film.
This is because Jack has known her for a long time and is
comfortable around which will make the filming process a lot
easier. She is also an A-Level Drama student making her acting
more believable to the audience.
 For Sarah's costume, I have chosen a purple jumper as typically
purple has positive connotations for example: Loyalty and nurturing
which is what I want my audience to see in Sarah’s character. The
jumper shows she is casual like a typical mother would be.
 I have also worked with Sarah before on my GCSE Media project so I
know how she works, her limitations and her strengths and
weaknesses before we begin filming.
ACTORS AND COSTUMES
 Alex – “School Teacher”
 I have chosen Alex James to be the school teacher in my film.
I have not had to think about his relationship with Jack as
they barely film a full scene together.
 I’ve chosen Alex because I believe that he has the look to be a
teacher and would be very believable to the audience. I have
also worked with him before so I will know his strengths and
weaknesses before we begin production.
 I have chosen for him to wear a suit as typically teachers are
dressed smart.
ACTORS AND COSTUMES
I imagine his
costume being
similar to this one.
 The main props I will be using in my film are toy trains. This is
for Jack “Toby” to play with and are the reason for the events
to follow. Without the toy trains I wouldn’t be able to shoot my
film.
 I also need a toy car for the toy trains to crash into them as
this is the main storyline for the firs two minutes of my film
PROPS

Costumes, Actors and Props

  • 1. Chloe Street AS Media Coursework Pre Production COSTUMES, ACTORS AND PROPS
  • 2.  Jack – “Toby”  I will be using my cousin Jack to play the role of Toby, the child in my film. I believe that Jack is the best person to play this role as I know him very well so co-operation will be extremely easy and he has the perfect look for the character I imagined when creating Toby. In the first two minutes of my film I have decided that Jack will wear this “onesie” and this is mainly because of the colour. I really like how it was red to resemble the danger that he is creating and the “Angry Birds” can create the childish spin in the anger and danger that he makes/creates but it’s also very childlike and could come across as a playful childs “onesie”. ACTORS AND COSTUMES
  • 3.  Sarah – Sarah “Mum”  I have chosen Sarah Hearn to play the role of the mother in my film. This is because Jack has known her for a long time and is comfortable around which will make the filming process a lot easier. She is also an A-Level Drama student making her acting more believable to the audience.  For Sarah's costume, I have chosen a purple jumper as typically purple has positive connotations for example: Loyalty and nurturing which is what I want my audience to see in Sarah’s character. The jumper shows she is casual like a typical mother would be.  I have also worked with Sarah before on my GCSE Media project so I know how she works, her limitations and her strengths and weaknesses before we begin filming.   • 4.  Alex – “School Teacher”  I have chosen Alex James to be the school teacher in my film. I have not had to think about his relationship with Jack as they barely film a full scene together.  I’ve chosen Alex because I believe that he has the look to be a teacher and would be very believable to the audience. I have also worked with him before so I will know his strengths and weaknesses before we begin production.  I have chosen for him to wear a suit as typically teachers are dressed smart. ACTORS AND COSTUMES I imagine his costume being similar to this one.
  • 5.  The main props I will be using in my film are toy trains. This is for Jack “Toby” to play with and are the reason for the events to follow. Without the toy trains I wouldn’t be able to shoot my film.  I also need a toy car for the toy trains to crash into them as this is the main storyline for the firs two minutes of my film PROPS
