5. Poster Analysis 1
A blue color
overlay n the right.
It symbolizes trust, loyalty,
wisdom, confidence,
intelligence, faith, truth, and
heaven.
The brightness of the man
on the right seems to be the
victim or the good guy.
A red overlay
on the left
Red is the color of fire and
blood, so it is associated with
energy, war, danger, strength,
power, determination as well
as passion, desire, and love
In the cover these
characters are presnted in
my opinion quite sinister so
there most likely going to
be the bad guys.

Brown symbolizes reliability,
elegance, security, healing,
home, grounding, foundations,
stability, warmth, and honesty,
is a natural, neutral color that
is typically associated with the
seasons of fall and winter.
White is associated with light,
goodness, innocence, purity.
With red , white , blue all
together show a strong
sign of patriotism because
with all the colors it make
the Amarican flag n with
the star in the shield might
sybolise the stars in the
flag.
7. Poster Analysis 3

8. Soundtrack
• Clip 1
• soundtrack 1 was tension building and had
everyone wondering what was going on.
• Clip 2
• Soundtrack 2 gives a very romantic side to
the the photo maybe implying its more than

9. Shining
To change this films perspective to a family
friendly film they have increased the lighting to
make it seem brighter, warmer and picked the
friendliest clips in the film to build out there
own movie timeline . They also put there own
narrator witch does a happy cover other the
trailer. There’s also long extending calming to
give more info.
10. Scary Mary
• To make the Mary Poppins a horror looking film
they have taken away the long calming clips and
replaced them with snappy scary looking clips
witch just flash past your eyes for a split second.
They have also involved the child's faces when
they are looking scared or worried witch naturally
builds tension because no one wants the
chrildred to get hurt they also use intense music
and changed the lighting to black and white witch
had that old fashion horror look.

• a spoken or written account of connected events; a story.
• Linear Narrative Definition
• Linear narratives live up to their name, meaning you could draw a
straight line from the beginning to the end of a story. These
narratives start the story at the beginning and tell consecutive
events until the finale. In contrast, nonlinear narratives might skip
around to different points in time.
• Linear Narrative Film Example
• Baby driver
• Look who’s talking
18. Narrative

of a story to his or her readers out of chronological

19. Clip AnalysisCostume
• good guys – the classic Jedi leather all in ones with there belts to hold there weapons.
• Bad guy – classic Darth Vader outfit so the oversized black cloak with his weapons all under the
black cloak.
Props
• Weapons such as light zabers and Jedi guns which look very sci fi. There was a sci fi type ship which
was the biggest thing in shot and the setting was I a cave type thing full of rocks.
Lighting
• The lighting varies due to the characters because while its on the Jedi's ( good guys) the lighting
quite bright and happy but when Darth Vader ( bad guy ) come in
Camerawork
• There was a lot of close ups with in the fight scenes to show the face of the fights and the
emotions on there friends faces and a couple of wide shots when the space ship was going away
and darth vader coming in with all of his troops.
Editing
• As they came to step to each other it was all a long shot but as soon as the tension started to build
it began the snappy clip shifts shifting to everyone's faces during the fight scenes.
Music
• Dark tones and sounds as darth vader arrived and intense sounds while in the fight scene and
happy sounds and music when they'd get away with no harm.
Color
• the colored varied with in the clip but the main colors were black for darth vader with use the
usage of black it shows he's the bad guy due to the connotations of the color black; is associated
with elegance, power, death, mystery and evil. Black is a mysterious color, it normally has a
negative connotation , there was a wide Varity but the good people in he clip all had lighter and
more colorful colors on and the bad people had a lot of basic colors such as black grey and white
just plain and iery.
