19. Clip Analysis
ā¢ When the scene first starts up you hear the song of the imperial death march in the most
ominous way this gives the viewer a sense of terror know that someone evil and powerful is
about to appear.
ā¢ In the next shot you see Vader stood ominously being back lit with his black helmet being
black out to the point you cant see his face. This is to make you feel that you are weak againt
his power plus with the heavy breathing you get the felling that with his weakness of not
being able to leave his suite he has learn to use that pain and turn that into strength and that
this man has no fear.
ā¢ Vader is also contrasted with the storm troopers to show that he is the treat as he doesnāt
even have to speak to order them about.
ā¢ You can see with Vader walking slowly up to Ezra and Kanen those two are frantically getting
ready to fight and you can see the fear in Kanenās eyes as even you can tell this is a fight he
can not win
ā¢ In the next shot you see that Vader is towering over Kanen and clearly over powering him
with only one hand as he is having to use two hand just to stay up and defend.
ā¢ When the light sabers clash you see Kanen shaking due to the pressure that vader is putting
out with one hand but you can also tell he fears Vader as he knows that Vader killed all the
remaining jedi.
