What further control
measures are required when
and by whom
1) Chemicals - There maybe
harmful chemicals around e.g
toxic/flammable.

2) Bags – if there are bags around
then there would be a chance that
people could injure them- selves
if they tripped over
3) Furniture – there will be tables
and chairs in the way, which
means that someone could injure
themselves

Students are advised to make sure
after finishing an experiment that
everything is packed away.
Teachers prompt students by telling
them to leave bags underneath
tables, so that no one trips over
them.

Some tables have curved edges to
en- sure that people won’t get hurt
on sharp corners.

When we go to film I will
make sure no experiments are
going on in that present time. If
there is I will make sure
students are careful with the
apparatus they use.
I will make sure students are
aware of their bags and to
make sure that they don’t leave
them lying around.

I will make sure that furniture
is moved in a suitable position
before we start to do any
filming and to ensure it is safe.

1) Bags – if there are bags around

2) Electrical wires – there may be
wires around as the office we are
in has computers and other
electrical equipment in.
3) Foot flow – students walking
through the shot or other teachers
coming into the classroom while
filming.
4) Fire - A fire alarm may go off
during filming, meaning we
would need to evacuate
immediately.

Teachers prompt students by telling
them to leave bags underneath
tables, so that no one trips over
them.

Wires from computers should be
tucked behind the computer, to
ensure that there are no faults.
Appointments are made so no one
should be disturbed.
Fire drills take place to ensure that
students know where to go incase
of a real fire.
I will make sure the teacher is
aware of his bags and to make
sure that they aren’t lying
around.

I will make sure that all wires
are behind computers, and I
will also find out who the first
aiders are if anything was to
happen.
I will have to go 5 minutes
early to the location, to aware
current staff members that we
will be interviewing Paul.
If an alarm does go off, I will
ensure my group know where
the nearest fire exit is; so that
we are safe.
