2. Why I didn’t choose this picture. Originally I wanted to have a real close up of A person doing this pose, however I chose against this. I found it was extremely difficult to add my desired texts around it, for instance the Main Title, would have had to go over his face, therefore causing the whole image to suffer, and making it look unprofessional. Also the picture in general wasn’t great, consequently causing me to opt for different ideas. I did however take inspiration from NME esc style picture for this one, however it just wasn’t a right picture for my front cover magazine.

3. Why I opted to this Picture. I chose this picture because I thought the whole image was very NME esc. Three main people look very ‘rock’ like, therefore it would be easy to pull the NME look off. As well I knew it would be easy to zoom in and out, and add text, such as the main coverlines. I also love the colour scheme and I felt the picture looked much more professional than the other picture.
