2. Audience Profile
My audience age range will be 16-19 years old and I think that this age range will be good as I myself
am in this category therefore I will know what my age range really wants and what they are really
looking to play, in my game I will aim it more so towards a females audience as I think that the style of
game is just more suited however I still feel as if it doesn’t really matter as I will try to make it so that it
can be played by all genders however I will initially aim it towards females with the colour scheme and
some of the characters that I am planning to use. In my opinion I think that my audience are more likely
to play games with bright colours and noises therefore I will use these factors to my advantage and
include it in my own game. I also think that my target audience would much prefer a more basic game
that they can keep playing and going over and over rather than a really hard game that takes ages
especially as teenagers are more prone to getting bored easily and I want to reduce this risk of people
getting bored and giving up.
3. Style sheet
For my style sheet I have chose a wide range of different games/pictures /
colours and fonts as I think that choosing these and even just researching
about it really helps for inspiration and research purposes for when it comes
to the actual production. In my opinion I think that I will use a lot of these
similar colour schemes especially as I am aiming more so towards girls
therefore I want my colour scheme to be more pink/purple as I think that
these are more well known for being colours that are associated with girls and
with more warm and happy thoughts over just black and white. I will also use
some of the fonts that I have selected as I want the writing to be readable but
at the same time keep in the theme of being girly and more aimed towards a
female audience, I think that by choosing all the different font options it saves
me time for the production as I can just look at this PowerPoint and then put
them in therefore it will save me time for my actual production. I will also be
using some of the references from these pictures as they give me inspiration
for when it comes to the creating of the characters and different types of
props.
