Within our film our main
character is very subversive as
she is a female. In the thriller
genre we would expect the main
protagonist to be a male.
Therefore we chose to dress our
main character in casual attire..
This is fitting as she play a
‘normal’ teenage girl, with very
abnormal powers. As she is
different in terms of ability and
personality we decided to mirror
this within her choice of style.
This is why we decided to chose a
leather jacket to express her style
as slightly alternative. In addition
to this we wanted to give a
slightly masculine feel to her
image as she is portraying a tough
brave character, which would
stereotypically be portrayed
within a ‘Tom-Boy’ personality.

partner the outfits
with a beanie hat.
