2. The Antagonist
• Actor: george Grant: We chose George to be our main
actor because he fits our character profile. This is
because he is , tall, slim and has the right
characteristics needed for our antagonist.
• Make up: We will create an alternative face for george.
This will be made from inspiration from the smiley film,
this will make his face unrecognisable and have no
facial features except from the mouth, keeping him as
un human as we can.
• Role: Georges Role in our short film is the antagonist.
He will be the main role in the short film and eventually
kill the protagonist. He is the non human being in our
short film.
• Costume and Props: The costume for the antagonist
will be black plain baggy clothes which covers most
human features. By choosing dark clothes, and using
dark gloomy lighting then it creates an atmosphere. The
main prop used here will be a scythe.
3. The Protagonist
• Actor: Olivia Grant will be our protagonist, we
chose her as she is the stereotypical girl, and
represents the “final girl” in horror. Her
characteristics are perfect for the character.
• Make up: Olivias make up will be very natural, as if
she is going out to school or work. Therefore
representing the normal stereotypical girl.
• Role: Olivias role in our short film will be the
protagonist, she will play the “final girl”. She will
play the teenage girl in which has a continuing
struggle with the antagonist until she ends up dead.
• Costume and props: Her costume will be a teenage
girls everyday clothes, they will be plain as we don't
want to distract the audience from the antagonist
and the story line. The Props will include an
IPHONE. This is a conventional prop for a teenager
and will be used for the phone call she will have
with the police.
The Second picture is what we made the character in to for the film.
As you can see she has the typical conventions of the “final girl”
