2. FRONT COVER
The audience for my magazine is younger people around the age 16-25 as they are
the ages of the people who are in my magazine and the content of my magazine
includes artists that the age group of 16-25 are interested in. the audience for
my magazine would also be people who are into indie music my front cover has a
person who is 17 and looks positive and is dressed indie so I think it would
attract my target audience. Also my front cover is quite plain and simple but it still
has enough on there and I think its not to crammed so I think this would appeal
to my target audience as it stands out from other indie magazines with the bold
colours and pooping writing.

3. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
My double page spread shows an interview with an indie artist who is around 18 so
this would attract people who are into indie music and who are in the same age
group and this is the audience I was hoping to attract. This would attract people
who like keeping up with the latest bands and artists and who like to find out
what they have been up to. I got my design inspiration from kerrang magazine
which Is a very popular indie magazine so I think people of the same audience
will be attracted to goldmine magazine as it has some similar design idea and my
magazine and kerrang include the same sort of music and interviews.

4. CONTENTS PAGE
My contents page includes people from the age of q6 to around 20 so it would attract
the age group I was going for and it includes artists that are popular with indie
people so it would attract people who are into that music. My contents page in my
magazine includes all the things that people like in popular indie magazines like
interviews, reviews and competitions so my magazine should appeal to the same
market that other magazines like kerrang and mojo do. The design of my
magazine is quite similar to kerrang with the shapes used and the bold colours so
I think it would attract my target audience.
