The next question that was asked on the survey was
which magazines do they read, and 80% picked other,
suggestingthey could before heavy mental magazines
and pop magazines. As 10% picked NME which an
alterativemagazine and 10% because Q which is a rock
magazine.
For my magazinethe content will befill with a variety
of different genres such as alterative,rock, pop and
possibleheavy mental.

when collectingthese results from my survey,I was impressed by the
results as 50%of the public selected for the survey ticked the slightly
often for readingmagazines suggestingthey only read them when
something eye catchingto them or their favouriteartistis on the
cover.
30% people said that they don’t read them at all suggesting they are
not interested in readingmagazines.
And 20% read the extremely often suggesting that they are fan of
magazines and liketo be keep up to date with the music world.
These results tell me that my magazine has to attractthose who are
extremely often and slightly often and the magazine has to interesting
to them to make them buy the magazine.

This question in the survey is quite importantfor me to understand what
attracts my chosen target audienceto my magazine.
50% of the public said they likethe free item form the magazine. This
option was the most chosen suggestingthat most of my target audience
and the public prefer havingfree items such as posters,CDs.
40% chose images,this percentage is importantas I have interesting artists
on the cover of the magazine that will attractmy target audience to the
magazines.
10% chose colour and 10% chosefont this shows these arethe least
important to the public and that the font and the colour don’t interest
them, as the most picked boxes were free items and images from a
magazine.
From the results the most important to me will bethe free items and the
images as itkey to attractmy target audiencewith various differentimages
and free items for each new edition. I will be consideringfontas and quite
important aspectto the magazineas I have to choose a font that
represents the genre of the magazine.
