5. Colour
• As you can see when you initially look at all of my pages side by side is that the colours mainly used are black, white, red and
yellow. However on the dps there is no yellow and there is only the blonde in his hair. The background on the front cover
and background on the dps are somewhat similar, they are both plain.
• By having running colours throughout my magazine it made the magazine come together and look like the pages belong to
the same mag.
6. ‘TRUE’
• As you can also see the name of my magazine appears on the front cover as expected and also on the contents, I couldn’t
put it on the dps as most professional dps don’t have the name at the top, however I did put it on the bottom right, I made a
red text box with a white ‘T’ instead of having the word true. This is because I had the words main feature and if I wrote out
the word ‘TRUE’ it would look weird.
7. Fonts
• I have a variety of different fonts In my magazine, however some cross pages and are all used effectively, for example the
number 20 on my front cover is in the same font as the commas In the title of my dps. Also the phrase ‘world exclusive
interview’ is in the same font as the majority of the text on my contents page. This is very subtle and as not all of the fonts
cross over when they do you can notice. All of my fonts are serrif and this is also noticeable, however this makes the
magazine easier to read yet still looks professional, also a lot of sans-serrif fonts are used in newspapers and I wanted this to
be different as newspapers can be boring.
