2. To start off with, I opened up InDesign and added the amount of pages I needed. I
started to do my double page spread and then I used the rectangle frame tool
over the whole of my page ready to insert my picture.
3. I then added my picture. I had to make sure that the picture had fitted the whole
of the page without any parts missing and because the quality was very good it
wasn’t blurry.
4. I added in a text box so that I could put in the heading of the page.
5. I then started to play around with the heading but changing the font and size. I
decided to go for the font which was the same as the front cover so that there
was a link to it.
6. I then added another text box on the other side of the page so that I could type a
little something about the article.
7. I added in a subheading and a little information underneath it in different sizes so
that it was understandable of what was the eye catching thing and what wasn’t.
After changing the size of the fonts I changed the font style.
8. I then made another text box which I copied and pasted my article into. The way
the text was not up to the standards of a magazine so I put the text into columns
and made space between them. I also made the first letter much more bigger
than the rest of the article so its understandable of where to start reading.
9. After finishing, I added in the final touches which was to change the colour of
some of the text. The main colour is red so I put the main things which should
catch they eye of the audience in red.
