Unnikrishnan Menon (Unni) graduated from IHM Kovalam. He began his career as a
‘Chef de Partie’ in the Taj Group of Hotels. He was the GM-Home Service Operations at
Pizza Hut & KFC and the Sr. Manager Training for Pizza Hut India. He set systems and
processes to capitalise the business potential of the Outdoor Catering Channel.
Unni is adept at the design & delivery of specialised training content. He has experience
in building training tools and manuals that enable standardising of operations and
delivering consistency.
Unni was instrumental in building and operating the Pizza Hut delivery system in the
South of India and launched the Pizza Hut online & phone ordering processes.
Ninan George Podipara (Ninan) started his career with the Taj Group of Hotels after
graduating from IHM Chennai. He went on to join KFC and was the VP Ops., Pizza Hut
& KFC in the South & West of India. He played a crucial role in the expansion of the
brands in these regions-from 3 outlets in 1999 to 68 outlets in 2008.
Ninan was the COO at UKN Properties, where he led the operations team in delivering
projects like the Alila Hotel (now the Holiday Inn) at Bangalore, Esperanza, a residential
complex in Whitefield, Bangalore and other projects.
Ninan brings to the table experience of over 20 years in hospitality operations,
planning, design and project management.

Prashant Pawar is a graduate from Delhi university, with over 20 years of experience
in the areas of Operations, Business Development and Project Management in the
Food and Beverage Services industry.
Prashant, as Director Real Estate and later Director Business Development for Yum
Restaurants, played a critical role in defining and executing the KFC and Pizza Hut
growth strategy for India. It involved a detailed Market planning & Mapping process for
brand penetration pan India, developing and rolling out flexible business models and
asset formats to enable rapid and sustainable expansion. He led the rationalising of
asset portfolios to improve business results and exploited new business opportunities
in business parks and transport hubs — railway stations and highways
Prashant brings to Free Climb the science to identifying viable locations to build
various restaurant concepts and business models.
Nandini Nair graduated from IHM Bangalore, started her career with The Park Hotels.
Sales & Marketing is her core expertise and as also pre-opening hotel operations. She
was part of the pre-opening team which successfully launched the flagship Ista, Alila
Hotels and Resorts, and the first Marriott in Bangalore.
With over 13 years of experience she understands various source markets, key
segments and the best recommended online marketing investments. Revenue &
Inventory management was a key function in her role as Director of Sales for Marriott
Hotels and partnering with the revenue team was crucial to the revenue strategy for
rooms and catering sales.
She developed key source markets like Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune
for Fairfield by Marriott, Bangalore by calling on clients and identifying segments for
targeting business.
