1. Production Diary
Wednesday 13th
October - This is my first day of production, I finished off my
planning and added a few extra details to the colour scheme for my fanzine,
and the calendar on what days I haveto producemy work so I can be
organised
Thursday 14th
October - I started my frontcover and back cover, I put them
both on a double page spread with the back cover on the left, and frontcover
on the right, this is so I can fold my page over when I print it and it will be layed
out well. I used guide layouts to put a blue line down the middle, so I know
whereto fold it. I kept the samecolour scheme on both pages with a light red,
white text and blue
Friday 15th
October – I finished off my frontand back cover today. I had
drawings on the front cover as a phoneplaying music through earphones and
on the back cover I drew headphones, this is to keep to the traditional fanzine
theme, with drawings as it isn’tan officially published magazine. The title I
called ‘Press Play’ becauseit fits the phoneon the frontcover, and I did the
play button as the letter ‘A’ on it. The white line on the top and sideof the
page gives it more of a visualeffect becausethe main primary colours being
red and white on the cover pages.
Wednesday 20th
October – Today I did my contents page, it was mainly blue,
and I went for a theme with vinyls, and the blue shadein the middle was used
for the background too, on the left I had the contents list with subheadings and
a bit of information too. I stuck with the AM Vinyl font on this page as it suits
the vinylimages, on the right side I put text around a circle vinyl shapewith the
title, and a bit of text about the fanzine and how the audience will like it.

2. Thursday 21st
October –I started another double page spread today and it was
the topic of artists this summer, I added the title and edited it with a stroke
and emboss under the layer style option. I added in text on both sides of the
double page spread and added in green backgrounds on certain text boxes etc
Friday 22nd
October –Today I continued with my magazine and worked on my
next double page, I used the same editing on the title of this page as the last
one because it suits the theme and colour scheme well, I added in text and
another green box with a rhetorical question in.
Wednesday 3rd
November – The firstday back from half term, and I finished off
my double page spread by adding in extra images related to music, and a
volume image above one of the text boxes to make it more eye catching and to
stand out more. I finished this page so I can moveonto the next one tomorrow

3. Thursday 4th
November – Today was a schooltrip to Aesthetica Film Festivalso
I didn’t get any production done, however I know what I need to do next. I also
got my interview today so I can work on that soon
Friday 5th
November – Today I worked on my next double page spread and
added a lot morewriting compared to the other page, so I added a green
background and made the title smaller and added a smaller image relating to
the topic of the page, which is the charts and a box next to it.
Wednesday 10th
November - I worked on my interview page and laying all the
questions out, I added them into the page with green text boxes and I had to
make the text smaller because of the questions and answers being a lot longer
than I thought. I added in extra clip art images from the ‘music and party’ font
to make it more eye catching, these also make it more fanzinerelated because
it isn’tan official magazine that needs official images.
Thursday 11th
November - Today I added finishing touches to my production,
and added in the images to all my pages that needed it, I also made a few
changes to the drawings on my front and back cover and a few more details on
my pages

4. Friday 12th
November – Today was the last day of production so I made sure
everything was finished, with my images, text, and all the pages.
