Target Audience [you were given 16-24 years olds, have you refined this?]
16 – 24-year-olds who live in York. We’re going to appeal to our target audience by doing research
and surveys for our audience to fill out, so we know how to make it appealing.
Rationale: 100 words approx.
Throughout this course I have learned about creating videos, print and audio-based subjects, such
as music videos, trailers, adverts, fanzines, magazines etc. I will use these skills I have made on
Adobe Photoshop and PremierePro to use on this project to make it the best of my ability. I have
also improved at planning, researching, evaluating my work etc and I will use this to help me with
my planning and ideas. The last project was a fanzine, and this helped me come up with ideas and
existing products research for this project
Review your progress throughout this year- what products have you made and what skills and
knowledge have you acquired? How will you use those skills?
What was your previous, similar production and how will it have a direct impact upon your project?
Project Concept: 200 words approx.
We will research a lot about audience research because this is what will help us come up with
ideas. I will apply parts of research I’ve done in past projects into this one including surveys for the
audience to fill out, analysing the answers and using them in our project, researching the
demographics and psychographics of our target audience, and more
What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make?
What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project?
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: 50 words approx.
I will keep an individual weekly review and evaluation of my work to show what I have done and
what I will do next, and also an evaluation on the whole project after production
How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation (Production
Reflections) and your final self-reflection (Evaluation), analysing your work and its outcomes.
How will this process help developing your working practices as you continue with your
study/media career?

Week Specific Tasks
1 Production [in/out?]
2 Production [in/out?]
3 Production [in/out?]
4 Production [in/out?]
Be aware which of those weeks are in or out of college,as you may need to plan different tasks around other
work when workingremotely. Budget for approximately 30 hours for production – which is roughly two weeks
of your in collegetime.
