FUNCTIONAL AREA SPECIALIST II ( DATA GOVERNANCE SME) (2/2015 TO PRESENT)
Oversees development of Information Collection Requests (ICRs) for submission and approval by the Office of Management
and Budget (OMB). Coordinates, controls, reviews, and evaluates the need for collection, the functional description of
information collected, and the plan for using collected information. Monitors the inventory of approved information collections
and coordinates with the Program Offices to extend approval or discontinue information collections when needed, thus
avoiding Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) violations. Advises Program Offices of information necessary for collection
packages; i.e., requirements for persons to obtain, maintain, retain, report, or publicly disclose information that may be in any
form or format, schedules, surveys, etc. Advises Program Offices of the OMB guidance on statistical analyses to ensure
submitted ICRs meet expectations for how collected information will be analyzed. Provides technical assistance to individuals
and internal and external components on issues that concern the development and evaluation of ICRs and other issues
involving management of government information. Prepare and present reports, staff actions, information papers and briefings
on programs and ARNG HRM Domain systems. Analyzes complex Human Resource issues and develops solutions.

Serves as the Functional Program Analyst and manager for the Automated Unit Vacancy System (AUVS), Recruit Quota
System (Request) and Guidance Counselor Redesign Center (GCRc) enlistment accessioning systems. Ensures all Army
National Guard training seats are properly managed and executed at State and Unit level. Liaisons across multiple internal and
external Army agencies validating testing requirement changes prior to releasing them into the production environment.
