– Good colour grading to make video look more professional and work
with the theme and genre.
• Editing (print)
– Good central image choices.
– Good colour scheme choices.
• Product promotion
– Appealing to the correct target audience.
– Making correct design choices and decisions to promote the product

4. Initial Reaction
My opinions
• Strong areas in editing and video based production.
• Strong areas in product promotion and placement.
After evaluating and looking at my various strengths and
looking at what I could make I am thinking about going
towards the promotional production route for my FMP. This is
because I want to push and show my skills in video
production, which involves camera skills and editing skills. I
think that this can push my skills and can show my strongest
areas. The overall target audience for this would be people
who watch a lot of advertisement and learn visually. It is also
for people who are attracted to up beat montage and fast cut
editing.
8. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Lots of repeated blacks to show the grittiness and power in working out but
also lots of brighter whites and pinks to show the outcome.
• Similar shapes and scaling of images and image content.
• Repeated image styles the whole way through the mood board with the main
style being fitness.
• Repeated mood of exercise and fitness.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my final products outcome as I will use lots of
colours, styles and moods that my mood board has. For example I will be using
lots of gritty colours to show the pain and the power during the workout but
brighter colours to show the strength and the determination after the workout. I
will also use lots of image styles that are in my mood board such as the repeated
equipment usage and framing in on the muscles working hard. Overall my mood
board has influenced my final product in a positive way and I will be using lots of
features from it in my product.
