Nathan Millett has created initial plans to promote a watch including a short film, music video, film trailer, and gaming montage that would feature the watch through posters, merchandise, and magazines. Nathan created a mind map and mood board to analyze repetition in images. The images utilized a dark color scheme with bright contrasting colors and focused layouts that draw attention to the watch. The tone is serious and high-quality to portray expensive watches. Nathan will use the mood board for inspiration on the layout and color scheme of a poster or magazine featuring a serious and stylish presentation of the watch.

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• All of the images have shared a similar colour scheme to each other as they have utilized a
dark colour scheme such as black and grey furthermore they have then made the colour
contrast with each other as the producer has put a bright colour with it such as white
• The layouts of the poster and magazines are all very similar as they all have the watch in the
centre of the products, this will draw the audiences attention to the watch then anything else
• The tone/ mood of the overall products is a very serious and smart one as they are all
showing off expensive high quality watches and they haven’t used many different images as
the watch sells itself.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
I will be creating a poster/ magazine that I will be using these pre existing to give me inspiration
for my product on what the layout should look like. Furthermore I will be using a similar colour
scheme such as the contrast between the colours such as black and white. As I have looked at pre
existing products I have found that I have to make it look serious, as this what companies will be
using.
