5S is defined as a methodology that

safe and well organized which help to
improve productivity.

3. 5S Methodology
Consist of five Japanese words:
 seiri (Sort) छँटाई अथवा वर्गीकरण
 seiton (Set In order) सुव्यवस्थथत अथवा क्रमानुसार
 seisō (Shine) थवच्छता
 seiketsu (Standardize) मानकीकरण
 shitsuke (Sustain) थव-अनुसाशन
