I have a Master’s degree in Business Administration and also
a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist and I have been working
in a supply chain department for over nine years. In my current employ,
it is my job to procure and administer all import of goods, manage the
delivery and distribution of all goods to various geographical locations
efficiently. In some cases this required the overseeing of all
goods, ensuring safety in all transportation, designing cost effective
methods for same and analyze best means of transport for all products
as per customer requirement in coordination with senior management.

 Liaising with the Warehouse, Sales and other relevant departments to determine stock.
 Negotiate with the supplier and follow up for Performa invoice.

 Follow up with suppliers for documents (supplier invoice, Performa invoice, B/ L) and providing
the same to the clearing department for goods clearance and smooth delivery.
 Tracking of incoming shipments
 Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs
 Filing and keeping records of all imports documents
 Files, faxes, copies and provides administrative support as required. Creates, maintains, prints
and distributes reports to related departments.
 To release shipping documents from bank / shipping guarantee.
 To ensure timely receipt of shipments as perform invoice dates.
 Expediting inspection of goods received
 Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, over supplied and faulty items received and taking the
necessary action
 Liaise with Stock Control on Preparation of GRN
 Preparation of expense statement in SAP and providing to the warehouse.
 Export Documents Preparation when requested by clients
 Submit reports on shipments as & when required and check freight forwarders bills.
 Make Supplier reconciliation with accounts & Prepare TR statement.
 Updating of imports register and emailing consignments status reports to the E.D., Warehouse
and Sales Department
 Any other duty that may be assigned by the Executive or Financial Directors

materials and publications, preparing press releases, organizing promotional activities.
 Closely monitors and analyses sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity and

implementation plan.
 Developing and executing promotional initiatives to profitably increase consumption within
budgeted parameters.
