2. Gender: Male
• Action films usually attract
a male audience since it is a
stereotype for men to be
drawn into films that
contain violence. It would
be strange to see a girl
watch a film like “Die Hard”
or “The Godfather” unless
they were accompanied by
a male. This is the exact
stereotype.
3. Class/Race: Middle Class/Mixed Races
• Since most action films
have a diverse cast we
could assume that our
action film would appeal to
a wider range of races.
People from the Middle
Class generally have the
ability to watch movies
regularly so they would be
the main audience.
4. Age: 18-30
• Most male teenagers love the
adrenaline that comes with
watching a film filled with
action. It keeps their hearts
pumping and it would appeal
to those who have not
reached adulthood. However,
the interest could continue
into adulthood which extends
the range to 30 and over.
Action films usually appeal to
the younger generation which
makes them the primary
audience.
5. Interests: Comedy, Action, Adrenaline
Rushes and Gunfights.
• People who would watch
an action film wouldn’t go
just because they could.
The film must have an
element that appeals to
the audience’s interests. It
could be their love for
comedy or of all the action
that makes your body
brim with adrenaline
throughout different
action scenes.
