Working Title: The Dev
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: It’s a Technology Magazine meant to talk about and give reviews on
new technology products
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Technology Magazine
What sort of product is it?
Content: I would talk about the new RTX 3080 TI graphics card, or maybe the new consoles
and talk about their features or on-going issues that they may have (The new Xbox going
up in smoke and just shutting off for no reason)
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: It will be aimed at a male audience between the agesof 16-24 within the middle
to upper class bracket, my secondary audience being either a female audience or an older
audience between the same social status range (of middle class to upper class).
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? No, there would be nothing that could be
offensive within the magazine.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? I will try not to restrict it, but younger
audiences may not understand some of the stuff I talk about meaning that they may not
view it due to them not understanding what it's on about
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? No religion would have no part or effect on
any of the products
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? By not mention anything that anyone could
find offensive, or that could come across as disrespectful
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? No, I will try not to copy or use
already existing products to make mine
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Yes, I will try and make the product as different as I can, making it so they that
it is unique and that it does not break any copyright laws.
