The proposal is for a quick-draw game called Quick Draw that aims to entertain teenagers through varied quick time events set in a Western genre. The game would take place in locations like outside a saloon and feature characters like a bandit and sheriff. Research into classic arcade games would inform the layout and user interface design. To avoid legal and ethical issues, the game would not include offensive content, would restrict access to younger players, and would feature original characters and gameplay mechanics different from existing Western games to prevent copyright infringement claims.

Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Quick Draw
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
My product purpose is to entertain people, I will achieve this by including quick time events
that vary in different speed
Genre:
What sort of product is it
Western
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product will include different locations for example outside a saloon. It will also include
different characters for example a bandit and a sheriff.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
My game is aim at the teenager, because it will have certain aspect that appeal more the
younger audience rather than the older audience. The age would in-between 15-19 because
the content would appeal for them more than someone in their 20s. It would be for both
genders because it wouldn’t have anything that would favour one or the other.
Research and Planning:
What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production?
Where will you use your research and planning in your final production?
I will use the same layout with the view being a classic street fighter game to make it easier
to play, also will have it that the countdown is in big, bold writing at the top of screen so
people can read it. I will use my research in my final product, when I design my background
and the characters, also I have made it so the characters don’t move from their position
that they are already in.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
My game will not include, any offensive material because it’s doesn’t have anything that
can offend anyone. I will restrict younger people from using my product because it will
include content that a young viewer can’t see or play. It won’t offend any social, religions or
ethnicities, because it’s doesn’t have anything that would offend them. I will ensure that it
won’t offended anyone because it doesn’t include anything that can offended by. I’m not
using characters or namesfor other existing. My product will be different from others
because it’s purely focus on quick time events, also it’s in a 2D form like an old classic
arcade games, also my characters won’t move from their spots at all.
