Working Title:

My product is a music video called “Popstar” and also a tour poster called “the youth tour”
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
My products purpose is to entertain people and is escapism for people
Genre:
What sort of product is it
My product is a music video and a tour poster
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product is going to be a hip-hop music video that I will go out and film and then proceed
to edit the music video on adobe premiere pro and adobe after effects and also a tour
poster that I will design in Photoshop to promote the artists upcoming concerts
Research & Planning
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
I will include some of the effects that I’ve seen in other music videos such as the line effects and
the glowing eye effect which to do these effects I will have to use adobe after effects
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc.
Why would your project appeal to this person?
My audience is middle aged males aged 15-25 and my project will appeal to my audience as these
are the demographics for hip-hop fans so therefore they are likely to watch my music video
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? My music video doesn’t have any offensive
material as there is no graphic scenes, no gang signs or anything offensive like that
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? No I will not restrict any younger people from
viewing my work as the other songs don’t restrict kids so therefore I won’t
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? No it shall not offend any social groups or
religions or ethnicities as it doesn’t include any religions and doesn’t
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? My video doesn’t offend anyone as there is no
offensive content is my video. The song has some words which could be seen as offensive
however they care used in an artistic way and they aren’t offensive to anybody
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? I’m using an existing song to
make my music video over and because it’s for educational purposes and I’m not trying to make a
profit or to sell the product so therefore I can use this for my video without getting sued for
copyright
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? My product will be original and unique even though it may be inspired by other

products to help me make my music video as good as i possibly can and so that it fits in to the hip-
hop music video conventions
