This visual poem video aims to provide escapism and inspiration to its target audience of 14-19 year old females. It will use emotive language in the subtitles and slow sad music over landscape video clips, filmed portraits, and scenes of everyday life to allow viewers to relate to the struggles discussed and find beauty in the world. The video will tell a story about hard days but finding peace through contrasting emotions and the beauty of life. Care will be taken to avoid offensive content and not restrict any groups while ensuring all content is original to avoid copyright issues.

Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later-
Reasons to stay-
It’s a very open question and there's all a reason were here. I'm looking for focusing on the positive
and more little things of life and capturing them. Like friends laughing and the trees as well as
pretty sunsets and places that feel safe like the beach. I will do this at my local village and college.
As a college is popular to teenagers.
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? The purpose
of product is to provide escapism and inspire. My product will have meaning behind the
words to pull the audience in and create emotion. It will allow them to relate and provide
some comfort. For example, videos of the world moving and meaning text about life and
the struggles/ tough times. I want people to get lost in the words whilst following the video.
I aim to do this by creating emotion with my words that iv created for the subtitles and
include slow sad music along with it.
Genre:
What sort of product is it?
My product is visual poem video. The genre is informative and escapism. My product fits
into these two genres because I will be using aspects of informative topics that shed light
on things as well as allowing people to watch my video and almost escape from what is
around them, I will create this by using emotion along with my angles, audio, and lighting.
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product is a visual poem video. I will include videos of people living and the city as well
as people laughing. I want to contrast emotion as well as the beauty of life. I will be talking
about hard days but finding the beauty of life and peace. I want to create emotion. I will put
it landscape clips and film edits to create a vintage effect. I also want to get clips of the
beach and life as it is, I am going to film people of cusp just living. I will do this buy setting
up my tripod and selecting slow mo.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be unbelievably detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person? My audience is going to be 14–19-year-olds and
females. This will be because during my research visual poems appeal to females more than
males. The social status of my product will not be specific as it will be available to many. It will not
be aimed at any specific gender. I will include places that this similar age may go to for example
colleges and towns.

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
I will not include any offensive material that will offend anyone. I will not include any specific race
or ethnicities through my product. As I will be including a variety of different people. I will not be
using existing products or names everything will be my own. For example, the music and the
words are all my own there should not be any copyright problems. I will not restrict younger
viewers watching it however I may include an age restriction if there are some sensitive things
witch younger viewers may not understand.
