________
BACKGROUND
After studying A Levels (Double Media) I decided to keep photography as a hobby and enter into the career
world aged 18. Currently at DHL Supply Chain working on the NOMs account, managing the daily
replenishment plan for 116 prisons we currently service. Prior to joining DHL I worked as an Inventory
Planner for ExertisGem, managing the consumer electronics account. I’ve worked within supply-chain for
most of my career, joining Tesco Head Office in 2007 and staying there for nigh on 7 years, working in
several different departments to gage as much understanding and experience as possible.
I am a highly motivated individual looking to build on my current experience with a new challenge within
office/system management/supply chain. I am both personable and ambitious, and while I excel when
working within a team environment (as demonstrated by being made “Team Rep” for my department within
weeks of joining), I’m not afraid to take the initiative and work on my own.
In my various roles working for Tesco I have been responsible for over 1500 product lines (ordering,
maintaining & forecasting), which included cereals, pulses, home baking products etc. whilst also gaining
valuable retail experience.
In January 2010 I joined a new team within Tesco (stock management), which provided me new challenges
and objectives. I was soon enlisted as the team rep (again) with duties that included organising team
bonding events, creating fun ideas for events and celebrating success, all the while aiming to keep the team
morale at a constant high.
