2. Purpose
• The purpose of Hertfordshire sport is to inform and entertain the

variety of perspectives.
• The magazine will be distinctive to others as it will be reliable and
truthful with all the information it holds.

information on specific sports each month giving examples of clubs
and teams, the best equipment and kit out there for it and general
skills for the sport.
• Front cover will include main image relating to what the main
feature is in that issue, will have cover lines to engage the target
audience to read more.
• Title will be white to contrast the background and to stand out. Will
be in the top left hand side as that is where the human eye starts
when reading.
• Double page spreads will be included with a equal ratio of images
and text so that it isn’t lacking information or has to much.
4. Form and genre

• Regular issue will be 40 pages,
issues with more info will be

month so there will be 12 issues in

5. Competition
• We don’t have much competition but there is
some local magazines that are more specific to
sport such as ‘runners world’ which is to do
with running. However we do not see this
magazine as a bug threat as we hold a variety
of different sports and info so the readers will
not get bored reading the same thing
• To keep our magazine the best we will include
lots of variety of content, interviews and will
have an equal balance of photos and text.
