3. MAGAZINE NAME
Prisma – This name is different which signifies that this magazine holds
something that others don’t. It makes the audience think of a prism which has many
angles and sides; this suggests that articles will tell a story from multiple viewpoints
instead of being one sided.
Fresh – The name tells the audience that any stories will be fresh, as in they’ve
just happened and the magazine has the inside scoop. It could also mean you won’t get
better articles anywhere else as it’s the ‘freshest’.
4. FRONT COVER
INSPIRATION
I have chosen these three front pages as inspiration for my own music magazine front
cover as they are simple yet effective poses. They engage the audience by having
recognisable faces, simple backgrounds and main cover lines that stand out. This is a
look that I aim to recreate.
5. CONTENTS PAGE INSPIRATION
These contents pages are ones that I will try to take inspiration from when creating
my own music magazine. The images in the contents page are also quite simple but
work at the same time. The centre contents page splits up the information which is
something I find useful and aesthetically pleasing.
6. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
INSPIRATION
These contents pages are something I want to
recreate as I will have a female as the featured
individual. For all three images, the writing fits
the artist perfectly. Simple layouts are used which
is something I like.
