2. Studio and Mise-en-
Scene
• Before we set up the studio, we wanted
to ensure that we had a plan and knew
exactly how we wanted things to appear
in our set.
• We decided that we wanted our house
theme to feature subtly within our
studio.
• We also wanted our studio to appear
like a typical news studio.

4. News Anchors
• We wanted to present a
professional production with
high production values.
• We decided to dress formally to
give the professionalism
required of a news reporter.
• We also decided this may
appear to some of the more
mature, younger target
audience.
5. Weather Reporter
• We also wanted to give the
same production values to our
weather report, so our weather
reporter was also dressed
smartly to keep the
professionalism and continuity
right through to the end of the
programme.
