Measures of Dispersion and Variability: Range, QD, AD and SD
Mise-en-scene
1. Mise-en-Scene
In the opening scene of our music video, we will use a board
with “Where Are Ü Now” written on it. This reference
will not only be a reference to our song title but also
to the narrative of the video where one friend moves
away, leaving the main artist alone. We have already
created this board. Another prop we willuse is dry
colour powder (yellow, orange, pink, etc). We will use
this in one scene during the chorus where the to
characters will throw the powder colours at each
other. This scene is meant to be a symbolic and visual
representation of the happy, exciting and colourful
nature of their friendship.
For locations, we will be using a variety of locations
like London Bridge, Granary Square and a merry-go-
round (Southbank), this is because it will give
authenticity to their friendship and memories and
experiences together as friends. Seeing familiar
locations in the video may also make the audience
feel a part of it and make it more appealing to them.
For most of our lip-syncing scenes, we willuse a
simple background (wall – white/purple) as it will
maintain focus on the performance.
2. The appearance and costumes of our characters will
be casual and everyday (Jeans – black/blue,Tops and
jackets). This is because it willmake our video more
relatableto the target audience, enabling them to
identify with the characters and involving them in the
storyline and video (making it more appealing).
