4. Educational Technology can be tracked back to the time
when tribal priests systemized bodies of knowledge.
Educational technology used the term “techne” to
refers to processes of applying knowledge.

5. Information and
Communication
Technology (ICT) is often
used as an extended for
Information Technology
(IT). The term ICT is also
used to refer to the
convergence of audio
visual and telephone
networks through single
cabling or link system.

6. Information and Communication Technology can
contribute to universal access to education. The
teacher can implement the quality learning through
the use of Information and Communication
Technology.

7. Computer Assisted
Instruction is one of a
self-learning technique. It
is an interactive
instruction to use the
computer to present the
instructional materials
and to monitor the
learning outcome.

9. Can in fact support the constructivist and social
constructivist of learning.
By the use of computer the learners can create or
can build new ideas, meaning, concepts and principles
in the learning process. And in this generation, we can
communicate to other people.

10. The Computer as a Teacher’s Tool have a Computer’s
Capabilities. These are the computer as a/an:
An Information Tool
Through using computer we can download all the
relevant information that is related to every topics. For
examples Documents, PowerPoint Presentation and
etc.

11. A Communication Tool
In communicating other people, there are many
applications that we can use to communicate to our
family or to other people. The examples of application
that can use to communicate is the Facebook, Skype,
Twitter, Email and etc.

12. A Constructive Tool
Constructive tool is a tool that can create or can
build a new ideas in a certain topics. By the use of
Microsoft office word you can create and build your
own new ideas. For example, when your teacher give
an assignment *make your own reflection paper* you
can use the Microsoft office to build and to make a
reflection paper.

13. A Co-constructive Tool
Co-constructive tool is more on using in a group
setting or group activities. By sharing the ideas of
every members and the leader is collecting the ideas
and combining to make a one set of ideas, that is the
co-constructive tool.

14. A Situating Tool
By means of virtual reality (RS) extension
systems, the computer can create 3-D images on
display to give the user the feeling that are situated in
virtual environment.

15. CAI can use the computer as a tool to facilitate the
learning and to improve the instruction. Since the
computer is very helpful to us, we need to make sure
that our presentation is appropriate to the grade level
of our students.

16. Software is any set of machine – readable instruction
that can use everywhere especially in school. Through
the use of Microsoft office
we can build new ideas, or
through the use of internet
and Google or Internet

more information, picture
or videos and other
application can see to our
personal computer.

17. Computer Software is also sometimes used in a more
narrow sense, meaning application software only.
Computer Software includes computer programs,
libraries (documents, music, pictures and videos) and
their associated documentation.

18. I definitely learned a lot in Educational technology
subject. Because for me, educational technology is
interesting subject. But educational technology is not
all about in technology. Educational technology is
more on tools that can we use in education especially
in teaching.

19. TRADITIONAL vs. MODERN
TEACHING TOOLS
Traditional Teaching Tools have used to teach
children the basics of education. From chalkboard and
chart to toys and interactive play and other traditional
tools, children have used physical item to learn
English, Math, Science and other subjects. By the use
of traditional methods
children are given a
‘hands on’ approach.

20. Modern Teaching Tools. The schools have begun to
integrate new technology in teaching. The learners in
modern world are able to use netbooks, iPods and
other electronic devices. The teachers are
implementing their lesson by the use of computer. The
learners must learn how to operate the other devices.

21. Before the Computer develop as Information
Technology and when the time goes on the Computer
develop as Information Communication Information.

22. All the learning that we gained in Educational
Technology can we use in the future especially in using
computer. Nowadays, the children in this generation is
more knowledgeable than us in using computer so we as
a future educator we need to upgrade ourselves in every
chapter.

23. After we learned more about educational technology,
We are going to apply all the idea/ information that we
gained in the class for the whole semester since 2nd
year to 3rd year.

24. Because educational technology is very helpful and very
useful to us especially to all teacher who teach the
students to develop their skills.

25. By using the traditional and modern way of teaching is
very challenging to us. Because the role of the teacher
in the classroom is not only to teach the students but
also to be a 2nd mother to all students. So we need to
be pair to every leaner.
