These slides represent the progression of my photographing experience, it also includes tutorials in order for me to achieve more professional looking shots.

1. Sun

2. Prominently, this image shows a long capture shot to enhance the suns rays in
the sky and on the sea. Within this picture I like the way that the sun acts as an
emulsion bringing the sky and the ocean. I also like the landscape shot as it draws
all of the elements inwards towards the sun which makes the sun seem dominant
in the image. This can seem as the encoded meaning of the photography whereas
I connote that the image may symbolise the ending of the day which can emit a
positive miasma, this can be supported by the gleaming rays of light being
reflected, shimmering off the ocean.

3. Music

4. I like this image as it focuses on one element of the record player
whereas the majority of the image is blurred. This can connote how
people can focus with the help of music. However the photographer may
have encoded the image to portray the importance of musical equipment
rather than the record its self. Therefore this image can demonstrate the
development of technology over time. From the sepia effect I can denote
that the image may enhance the authenticity of the record player.

5. Travelling/Exploring

6. Notably, I like this image as I have decoded the fact that the image can represent how
travelling can emit a sense of freedom as the angle of this shot portrays that the
woman is higher than the sun. This can show that travelling can make the impossible
come true as travelling evolves around personal aspirations. The image may also
suggest that she needs to stand on a solid rock in order for her to have a clear view of
the sun this can represent her attitude as she doesn’t want anything getting in her
way.

7. Fruit

8. Predominantly, I like this photograph due to its simplicity which can reflect the fruit
within the image as it is simple and natural. I also like the fact that the background
is blurred as it brings a central focus to the fruit tree which makes the tree in the
photograph seem more dominant. From the blurred background it may imply that
the photographer only wanted to focus solely on one simple feature. This can
connote the stereotypical notion of true love as when true love is found everything
else seems hazy. This may not be the original encoded message but from the
aspects of the image I have denoted that this image can represent a single persons
ideas on what matters and the less important things that eventually begin to fade
into the background.

9. Flower

10. In this image I have
decoded that it may
connote the equality
of living organisms this
can be represented by
the reoccurring shade
in the flower and
butterfly. This message
may also be supported
by the agreeable
contrast of green and
orange as it might
imply that nature and
living creatures go
hand in hand. The
blossoming of flowers
and bloomed flowers
can show the different
stages of the flower’s
life through time
which can highlight the
different uses a flower
can be at different
parts of their life cycle
