1. Practice II - School N° 4 – Camila Roldán and Samanta Otamendi Gomez
Lesson Plan N° 1
Class: 6th grade “C” & “D”
Level: Beginner
Time: One class
Language Exponents: can / can’t
Language Skills: Writing, Speaking
Main Aims:
• By the end of the class, students will understand how to use can/can’t to describe
the abilities of the animals.
Personal Aims:
• We want to see how students react to our own style of teaching and also to know
how we feel teaching our first class.
Materials:
• Computer, beamer and headphones.
• Pictures of animals.
Anticipated problems:
1- The beamer may not work.
2- The headphones may not work.
3- Students may get too noisy with the video.
Possible Solutions:
1- The trainees ask students to name the animals learnt in the previous classes
together with their actions so as to review them.
2- Sound is not so important and to fill the silence the trainees could ask questions as
the video advances.
3- Trainees ask students to be quiet.
