2. Context: This ESP course was designed for the students of The School
of Education, at UCV, specifically for the EUS program.
Subject: English II
Location: UCV, Bolivar centre
Type of English taught: ESP for education.
Length: Three hours per week
Number of students: Ten (10), Female: eight (8); Male: two (2).
3. Modality: Blended course, studied through a semester of sixteen weeks.
Methodology used: Blended classes. Four face to face classes, each face to
face class is every three weeks, and between those classes, online sessions.
Materials: Reading taken from the book done by the department of the
language faculty.
Students’ background: They are students who live mostly in villages and
towns near Bolivar state. Some of them have never studied English before.

In the face to face session the activities will be:
