Aria Ghorbani experimented with different logos for a magazine using various fonts and Photoshop tools. They created a logo with two dots representing the letters in the magazine title and three lines to make it look sleeker. For the final magazine, Aria will include the name "Berkeley" and the logo design made in Photoshop, which they felt made it look better and was their original work. Aria added two dots around the top of the logo to make it distinct from other magazines.
2. Process
• With the first logo I made it
through using Photoshop. This
was because I wanted to make it
different from other logos so
added two dots to represent the
two letters. I also added three
lines to make it look more
slicker. With the other logos I
went to de font to do them. The
fonts I used where classic,
graffiti, space, bold, hand drawn.
I wanted to created to new type
of junkie style old street art
through the text I was going to
us in my magazine. I used the
lasso tool to cut out the AG from
the background colours. I also
use the blending in tool to make
my logo blend in.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
I will include the name for my magazine what I
made in Photoshop because it makes it look
better. And it is also my own design. For my logo
I made it have two dots around the top of it. I
this so I can add in a different effect from other
magazines.
5. • Always reference terminology
• Reflect on the helpfulness of specific tools in
Photoshop
• Process – what changes would you make for
the final design (reflection)
• Some experiments with software and
magazine layouts would help
