Abstract
This research is conducted under the supervision of mission element at PC sindhi school
attachment G.E.C.E( women) Hyderabad in this action research I observe in this research
on the impact of activity based learning for developing the interest of primary students in
science subjects at grade 4. This research paper showed that impact of active based learning
for developing the interest of primary school learners in the science subject the
development of gaining knowledge have develop quickly in science joining knowledge
with successful approach. The methodology in this research paper is a demonstration
procedure or techniques used to identify the selected process and the aim is to find
effectiveness of active based learning in science class. The problem in this study research
paper is student in science class have more complexity to be creative and no adapting
flexibility to new learning objectives.
Finally a lesson in this research practically showed at primary school P.C school attached
with G.E.C.E (w) college hyd that the students active based learning become more flexible
and creative and totally research shows the impact of active based learning in primary
school science class that students have gained the positive point onward active based
approach for learning.

1.BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
This study is concerned with the research knowledge regarding the impact of activity-based
learning for developing the interest of primary students in science subject the development
and learning have grown at a rapid pace the developmental learning of science and
connecting the knowledge of successful approached, that is emerging in education the
activity-based learning also affects the learning process and the achievements of the
students. The learning plays an important role and receives special attention in our science
interest for the development of the knowledge (john Wiley and sons sci 1998). A problem
based learning frame work science center knowledge curriculum knowledge for learner
teaching activities in added to the problem the Learning is the effectiveness of learning
attitudes, learning motivations self-efficacy and the learning achievements in science the
collaborative game based learning and demonstration method environment is developed by
the integrating a grid based mind tool to facilitate the students game planning process to
evaluate the the effectiveness of the proper approach for learning (Ham yu sung, Gwo Jen
Hawing 2013). the efforts to assure that the subject matter is appreciative to the capacity of
the students it needs the lectures and demonstrations also the learning is the functions of
learners and is based upon the experiences the activity-based learning also involved co-
curricular activities and situations it gives the information to promoting learning
development growth as a general educators is particularly conceded with its largely a
process of maturing through experience teacher makes a greater efforts to assess that the
subject matter is appreciating the mastery of basic skills important sources for research (
Amuthavalli & DrSivakumar march 2014).meaningful worth that builds on students prior
knowledge and experience and students actively participative engage the students explicit
the instruction in social emotional and cognitive skills such as interpersonal awareness
interpersonal skills developed with the help of demonstration method and good decision
making opportunities.(Lisa flook.channa cik Harvey brigid brron dysnforda david asher 17
feb 2019).
2.AIM OF THE STUDY:
The research methodology is scientific procedures or techniques used to identify the
selected process and analyze information about the topic. the purpose or aim of this study to
find out the effectiveness of the activity-based teaching method on students learning in
science and to achieve the aims understanding knowledge for the better results to student
community in the study of integrated the new activities to use the best performance of the
student learnings. After conducting the instruction using an exemplar activity about 45% to
- 2 -
70% students were not able to perform the similar tasks successfully systematic activity-
based teaching cum evaluation strategy was found a better method in developing concepts
(Raymond F Peterson David F Treagust, 1998). The reasoning process could be considered
a peer activity and developed the knowledge to understand the students learning (Ham yu
sung, Gwo Jen Hwang, 2013). The learning environment is developed by integrating a grid-
based mind tool to facilitate the students share and organize that what they have learned
during the learning process the demonstration has been conducted in science learning
attitudes the learning and motivations self-efficacy and learning achievements (Linda
Darling Hammond, Lisa flock channa cook Harvey, Brigid Barron and David Osher, 2019).
The practices of an emerging consensus about the science of learning and development it
synthesis of the research situating the review in a developmental systems framework that
support science learning opportunities to promote children for transferable learnings in a
positive way in science the science learning and development demonstrate how tightly
interrelated in the activity-based learnings and development are that the brain and the
development of intelligence and capacities are malleable and the development of the brain
is an experience-dependent process individual needs and trajectories instruction and
supports to enable optimal growth in competence, confidence and motivations.
3.OBJECTIVESOF THE STUDY:
The objective in this study is concerned with the impact of activity-based learning for
developing the interest of primary students in science this following are the objectives of
research which researcher should try addressing during the study.
*To develop an activity-based lesson plan for the teaching of science for student learnings.
*To compare the activity-based learning with science subject for students achievements.
*To build their performance with different steps of activities.
4.STATEMENTOF THE PROBLEM:
The problem in this study is that the students have more difficulties regarding science.
students have no flexibility in adapting to new demands and creativity in taking advantage
of new opportunities in science education also students were not able to describe their
organizing skills and develop the information in a science classroom.
5.RESEARCHQUESTIONS:
Other researcher research study questions are interrelated to the research study.
Q1:How far is active based learning of science effective in teaching the students?
- 3 -
Q2:What is the level of achievements in the science of the students with integrated the
active based learnings?
Q3: How active based learning appeals to many different styles for students learning in
science?
6.SCOPEOF THE STUDY:
The scope of the study is in the impact of activity-based learning for developing the interest
of students in science. I have seen quite the spectrum in P.C school students organization
that are the students who loved the planners. Active based learning in science it is
interesting to develop and design the new activities and incorporated in learning concepts
proved to be effective tools in a classroom environment and reinforced presentation creates
the interest, desire for more learning better understanding in concepts motivate to take
actions also improve the interpersonal skills willingness to participate the activities improve
the achievements level of learners skills activation strategy cognitive and physical aspect
for joyful and effective to give positive opinions in the classroom-oriented materials
promoting learners.
7.SIGNIFICANCEOF THE STUDY:
The importance of this study is that students clear their minds through the learning of
science subject experiences and more engaging the motor activities for improving both
level and more interpersonal aspiration and better higher attentional levels interest in
developing educational process.
8.PURPOSEOF THE STUDY:
The purpose of this study is that improve the practice of science education and to
understand science concepts also actively involved in the learning process and also help to
students with focus classroom and focus the teaching level complex with science learning
to be effective discuss ideas and also describe the complexity to understand the science
subject study.

10. REVIEW OF LITERATURE:
11. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK:
Theoretical framework consist of ideas and collection of the interconnected concept of
their research study also the theoretical framework is interrelated to the research topic.
ACTIVE LEARNING THEORY: By (Cynthia j.Brame,1991) for association study of
higher education and eric cleaning house on higher education, active learning as an
interesting oral activity that keep students busy doing things and also promoting thinking
that what they are doing and why that is defined by (BONWELL AND EISON).approaches
active learning is promoting on internal pupils skills and giving knowledge that requires
students to do some things, as read, discuss or write that focus student to the exploration of
their attitude and values this approaches also (BONWELL AND EISON in 1991
BONWELL AND EISON) broadly defined many activities may fall in it. they suggest
aspect run of activities to promote active learning nearly as during lecture we allow
students to give their point of view on that topic and discussing with their group and
sharing their ideas to more difficult to simple. (HANDELSMAN MILLER and PFUND)
also, note that in their book in science teaching that is the only method which promotes
students internal skills to do something better as assessed by a simple way to understand.
12.RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
I use the qualitative method in my action research because of the method know about the
weaknesses of students I check the different abilities of students and understand the
knowledge about their learnings .

13.DATACOLLECTION:
I had to collect my research data with the help of teacher and students response observe
from teacher and students through the interview tool, lesson plans and new activities.
14.TARGETPOPULATION:
The population of this study observed here of the students and teacher in grade 4th students
govt primary school attached with (G.E.C.E (W) COLLEGE )the total number of 15
students in the class.
EFFECT OF ACTIVE BASED TEACHING METHOD IN SCIENCE THEORY:
This research is base on study of students to measure the effectiveness of students based on
active learnings methods in science classes this research paper also a means to know the
connection teaching technique and learning of students in science class this study was
measure by an achievement test (post-test) groups of students that is the focus group that
given them a two chapter of the textbook. Each group has 4 students of science and that
was assessed by the standard of 4th grade. The focus group thought by lecture method and
demonstration method thought by the active base method. The time duration of both was 3
mints a day for 15 days after all the achievement test was conducted and the data collected
the result of the demonstration method was better conclude. the active based method are
effective of teaching in class science at primary is the better option.
15.INTERVIEW TOOL(thematic analysis):
The research is prepared with the open-ended to the questions and the question was
conducted from the teacher interview first I interviewed the teacher who taught to the 4th
class of students.
16. SAMPLING DESIGN:
The population of that study in action research ensued of the teacher and students at the P.C
school attached with G.E.C.E (w) college hyd in class 4th.In this class, 15 students
cooperate with me during the lesson plan's activity with demonstration method about
- 6 -
(matter) and another is game-based activity and student clear with their cooperative
dependent and feel one each other.
17. INSTRUMENT TOOLUSE IN RESEARCH:
I was using the interview tool in my action research because I collect the interview from a
teacher and observe the teacher and I also made the worksheets to observe the students
because of this worksheets about the students learning, knowledge, behaviour,
understanding and information to observe with the help of worksheets and interview tool
regarding knowledge about the students and teaching abilities.
18. DATA INTERPRETATION AND ANALYSIS:
The researcher is an interpretation of their data with the help of MS WORD, PIEGRAPH. I
used these because of describing action research and also gives the information and
knowledge through this data.
19. ACTION COLLECTING AND MANAGING DATA:
19.1 ACTION 1 REPORT ON RECONNAISSANCE: MEETING WITH
HEADMISTRESS AND SCIENCE TEACHER:
Today I plan to meet with the headmistress of government P.C school attached with
G.E.C.E (W) hyd to gives my action research report. in this step of the researcher will be
applied on following patterns which helps the students knowledge new ideas and
observations recorded for the better educational knowledge in students concepts my
planning of the research is that I will conduct meeting with the headmistress and also
teacher then I will observe the behaviour in the planning step I was complete my action
research cycles and objectives tool with headmistress permission I also include the
interview tool then I was collect the interview from the teacher about the impact of activity-
based learning for developing the interest of primary students in science subject grade 4th I
will be collecting my tools and activities and objectives with new activities and also involve
the students in this new activity for developing interest in activity-based learning in science
in these activities students will be motivated and describe their new ideas with my research
topic. In this step of reconnaissance, I was conducted meeting with headmistress and
teacher about my research topic and study of the furthermore ideas about my research
through the permission of headmistress suggestions after completion of the meeting I call
interview from the student's community and its concerned teacher about my research topic

Discussion On themes
Learning: in this step of learning process I used the different learning activities and short
clips, for the students and teacher learning in this step my learnings is going very well and
the students answer properly about my topic impact of active based learning for developing
the interest of primary students in this step of learnings I only focus on the students and
teachers knowledge and learnings.
Teaching: in the teaching step I focus on the teacher and on the other hand I also focus on
my teaching then I sort out the difference that what is the difference about my teaching way
and the teachers teaching way so I guess the teachers only use the traditional way to teach
the students and I used to teach students with different types of activities and short clips
with the help of laptop because while learning from laptop student might focus on their
study and they also enhance their learning and they will be able to answer properly.
Performance: in the step of performance look after the children that what students
understand about topic and how was their way to expressing ideas regarding the topics and
how much they are able to express their ideas infront of teachers in my perspective the
performance of students was 30% percent because they have learned many more about the
topics and also understand the concept of science subject with the help of different
activities and short clips.
19.3 ACTION 3 REPORT:TO DELIVER THE LESSON PLAN ABOUT
SCIENCE WITH ACTIVE BASED LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR
STUDENTS:
Today I conducted the lesson plan for students so the first I meet the students and motivate
the students to deliver the lesson plan. the first lesson plan about the science subject and the
topic name is (our body parts) I delivered the lesson plan but my first lesson was not going
well because of this lesson plan delivered time students were not free with me and they feel
the frightfully and also feel shyness in front of me so they do not give me the clear answer
about the question in this lesson plan I taught to the student with the demonstration
method. then I was second deliver my new lesson plan this lesson plan also about science
and the topic about (matter) in this lesson plan I am firstly talking with students states of
matter like solid liquid and gas through brainstorming to motivate the students then I was
announced my lesson plan topic that today we all study about states of (matter) that who
gave us the water , air, and many more and I taught to the students with many different
activities and also use the game based method with the help of short videos about( states of
- 9 -
matter )students watched this video and physically and mentally involved with me about
my directions and after this video, I was given the worksheets to the students and said to the
students that write the answers in this worksheet so this lesson was gone best because of
students performances in this action.
DATE:23/11/2020
Reflections, changes: After delivering of lesson plan I have observed that the students are
fully interact with me and they enjoy learning through by a teaching method and
demonstration method which are included with active based learning and also practical
skills enhance the students enjoyment in the lesson which are fully engaged the student
environment and student create cooperation through the delivery of the lesson plan and
students also avoid hesitation and they easily feel free and the raised any question with
interest about the things.
20. DISCUSSION:
The purpose or aim of this study was to examine the to build a base for this research and
answers the first thing shows that activity-based learning in science has a positive impact
on the teaching process. I observed in Govt. P.C school attached with Govt Elementry
College Of Education (Women) Hyderabad. previous literature has established that the
students interact feeling motivations engagement, comprehension understand and
achievement all affected positively due to implementation of activity-based learning
method. Active base learning approach has been applied and the focus group which has
been applied in the traditional learning method. This can change indicates that the active
learning approach and demonstration method is effective in teaching science. Active based
learning teaching method generates an ideal situation for science teaching, especially at the
primary level. The present study is determined the activity-based learning method and
demonstration method in science the learners are involved actively in hand on minds-on
experiences and acquire on the opportunity to relate intangible concepts and theories with
actual activities and observations also active based learning method helps learners to
understand the science concepts students actively engaged and involved in the teaching-
learning process and activities help them in their knowledge in various real-life studies the
science learning education looked at the teaching-learning process.
- 10 -
21. Conclusion:
A lot of gained from active based learning education and this study, show a particular
established on the merits of active based learning study when this method used in a science
classroom for the development of learning was grown rapid pace in science subject. A
dynamic, expending of knowledge covering in new domains in active based learning in
science this demonstration method is very better approach for improve students ability and
students face the challenges. The result of this study revealed that students have gain
positive point towards active based approach for learning in science subject which help to
developed in the interest of students and it provide lots of enjoyment and fun it is concluded
that active based learning enhance learning achievements in the study of science subject.
Recommendation
 The use of science able to student’s community. The study of active based learning
highly recommended in classroom/ schools for improvement of science knowledge
and students prepare own fun/ technologies.
 Teacher may also use the active learning as a teaching strategy which come to
enable students to engaged in learning process rather than using traditional way.

APPENDIX B
TRANSCRIPTION OF INTERVIEW QUESTIONNAIRE
Q1:what do you do know about active based learning?
A: activity-based learning is the process of learning by doing .as opposed to asking kids to
simply listen and take notes, activity-based learning encourages students to actively
participate in their own learning experience through practical activities such as problem-
solving and independent investigation .by encouraging kids to explore, learn independently
through activity-based techniques. its one of the great method in the teaching of science
especially because it encourages students and teacher to particular activities which are
participating by both of them.
Q2:what kind of strategies active based learning do you use in the science classroom?
A: a science is class is different from arts and other teaching classes because in that class
we have to be active more than in other class so the active base learning is an only method
to make you and pupils busy doing practically work on activity base to learn better in that
way. in science class, we have to use the game-based learning, discussion, problem-solving
these activities help both instructor and students to understand the learning objectives of
science class.
Q3:what are your selected SLOs achieved by using activity-based learning in science
subject?
A: yes in my action research topic I achieved SLOs by using activity-based learning in a
science subject. Major parts of the body. State the functions of the major parts of the body.
Describe how muscles and bones work together to move. Design matter and give examples
to identify the three states of matter. Compare solid, liquid, gas on the shapes.
Q4:how do you increase the understanding concepts in science?
A: we can teach by practically as we do inactive base learning. Inactive base learning
students will encourage to understand the concept of the topic in a way that of participants
in activities which are the related to previous learning so doing such effective activities like
game-based learning or doing something practically of discussion session so that they can
easily understand and knows what will be going here.
- 14 -
Q5:how can you compare the achievement through science for the development of brain
growth?
A: learning involves a complicated interplay of factors discussed the importance of
focusing on the cultural factors that influence learning. the committee explained new ways
of understanding what culture is and the complex ways it influences development and
learning we examine the different types of learnings to understand the variety of complex
processes involved . then we discuss brain development through the life span and changes
in the brain that both support learning and occur as a result.
Q6:is that an activity-based learning method for developing the interest of science? Is that
helpful for self-development?
A: yes it is also helpful for both instructor as well students because it encourages the
students to do participate in the activities in that process teacher will analysis the approach
of students so then he or she can bitterly manage the environment and learning sequence of
class. When the teacher knows the objective and learning goals are achieving bitterly she
will be self-motivated because of activity-based learning in science class mostly we do the
practical work so it will be good that students involved in activities of the class.
Q7:do you enhance science education through activity-based learning?
A: yes because activity-based learning is the only method which involves students to do
practical activities and make interest to participate in class so the science subject is practical
as well. We can not make proper understand our pupils without practical work in science
subject so these both will support each other in these cases because it's effective to enhance
science education throughout the activity-based learning.
Q8:do we evaluate a student’s ability through different activities?
A: yes we can evaluate a student throughout the activities that how much she can do work.
It's a good way also to know what interest and to know whats strength and weakness of a
student is because in practical activities we look at the students and easily evaluate him/her
that how she is doing and how smart, intelligent she is the different activities will show off
that how a student is doing work better or lazier.
Q9:do you use activity-based learning in science as a life long process?
- 15 -
A: yes the activity-based learning in science as life long process it is most effective ways to
deal with change is constant change in our personal lives, change in our work lives, change
in our local communities, governance, associations and organizations.
Q10: How can you adapt to the new learning demands?
A: yes when we have a new approach, demand for teaching and learning we use the
technology or necessary resources which are available according to the condition we decide
new learning demands the best opportunity is online resource to enhance or face any
demand or challenges in learning and teaching.
Q11:any suggestion to improve the active based in a science classroom?
A: yes when we are enhancing in a science classroom than we have to keep in mind that
how much time is there because in activities we need a lot of time to complete the task so
we have to manage it bitterly and then we have to know that how much resources are to use
in the classroom for teaching in science class by active based learning and with the help of
demonstration method.

  • 6. - 1 - 1.BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY This study is concerned with the research knowledge regarding the impact of activity-based learning for developing the interest of primary students in science subject the development and learning have grown at a rapid pace the developmental learning of science and connecting the knowledge of successful approached, that is emerging in education the activity-based learning also affects the learning process and the achievements of the students. The learning plays an important role and receives special attention in our science interest for the development of the knowledge (john Wiley and sons sci 1998). A problem based learning frame work science center knowledge curriculum knowledge for learner teaching activities in added to the problem the Learning is the effectiveness of learning attitudes, learning motivations self-efficacy and the learning achievements in science the collaborative game based learning and demonstration method environment is developed by the integrating a grid based mind tool to facilitate the students game planning process to evaluate the the effectiveness of the proper approach for learning (Ham yu sung, Gwo Jen Hawing 2013). the efforts to assure that the subject matter is appreciative to the capacity of the students it needs the lectures and demonstrations also the learning is the functions of learners and is based upon the experiences the activity-based learning also involved co- curricular activities and situations it gives the information to promoting learning development growth as a general educators is particularly conceded with its largely a process of maturing through experience teacher makes a greater efforts to assess that the subject matter is appreciating the mastery of basic skills important sources for research ( Amuthavalli & DrSivakumar march 2014).meaningful worth that builds on students prior knowledge and experience and students actively participative engage the students explicit the instruction in social emotional and cognitive skills such as interpersonal awareness interpersonal skills developed with the help of demonstration method and good decision making opportunities.(Lisa flook.channa cik Harvey brigid brron dysnforda david asher 17 feb 2019). 2.AIM OF THE STUDY: The research methodology is scientific procedures or techniques used to identify the selected process and analyze information about the topic. the purpose or aim of this study to find out the effectiveness of the activity-based teaching method on students learning in science and to achieve the aims understanding knowledge for the better results to student community in the study of integrated the new activities to use the best performance of the student learnings. After conducting the instruction using an exemplar activity about 45% to
  • 7. - 2 - 70% students were not able to perform the similar tasks successfully systematic activity- based teaching cum evaluation strategy was found a better method in developing concepts (Raymond F Peterson David F Treagust, 1998). The reasoning process could be considered a peer activity and developed the knowledge to understand the students learning (Ham yu sung, Gwo Jen Hwang, 2013). The learning environment is developed by integrating a grid- based mind tool to facilitate the students share and organize that what they have learned during the learning process the demonstration has been conducted in science learning attitudes the learning and motivations self-efficacy and learning achievements (Linda Darling Hammond, Lisa flock channa cook Harvey, Brigid Barron and David Osher, 2019). The practices of an emerging consensus about the science of learning and development it synthesis of the research situating the review in a developmental systems framework that support science learning opportunities to promote children for transferable learnings in a positive way in science the science learning and development demonstrate how tightly interrelated in the activity-based learnings and development are that the brain and the development of intelligence and capacities are malleable and the development of the brain is an experience-dependent process individual needs and trajectories instruction and supports to enable optimal growth in competence, confidence and motivations. 3.OBJECTIVESOF THE STUDY: The objective in this study is concerned with the impact of activity-based learning for developing the interest of primary students in science this following are the objectives of research which researcher should try addressing during the study. *To develop an activity-based lesson plan for the teaching of science for student learnings. *To compare the activity-based learning with science subject for students achievements. *To build their performance with different steps of activities. 4.STATEMENTOF THE PROBLEM: The problem in this study is that the students have more difficulties regarding science. students have no flexibility in adapting to new demands and creativity in taking advantage of new opportunities in science education also students were not able to describe their organizing skills and develop the information in a science classroom. 5.RESEARCHQUESTIONS: Other researcher research study questions are interrelated to the research study. Q1:How far is active based learning of science effective in teaching the students?
  • 8. - 3 - Q2:What is the level of achievements in the science of the students with integrated the active based learnings? Q3: How active based learning appeals to many different styles for students learning in science? 6.SCOPEOF THE STUDY: The scope of the study is in the impact of activity-based learning for developing the interest of students in science. I have seen quite the spectrum in P.C school students organization that are the students who loved the planners. Active based learning in science it is interesting to develop and design the new activities and incorporated in learning concepts proved to be effective tools in a classroom environment and reinforced presentation creates the interest, desire for more learning better understanding in concepts motivate to take actions also improve the interpersonal skills willingness to participate the activities improve the achievements level of learners skills activation strategy cognitive and physical aspect for joyful and effective to give positive opinions in the classroom-oriented materials promoting learners. 7.SIGNIFICANCEOF THE STUDY: The importance of this study is that students clear their minds through the learning of science subject experiences and more engaging the motor activities for improving both level and more interpersonal aspiration and better higher attentional levels interest in developing educational process. 8.PURPOSEOF THE STUDY: The purpose of this study is that improve the practice of science education and to understand science concepts also actively involved in the learning process and also help to students with focus classroom and focus the teaching level complex with science learning to be effective discuss ideas and also describe the complexity to understand the science subject study. 9.LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY: This research is limited in government P.C school because lack of time and resources have collected actions only for the fulfilling of degree.
  • 9. - 4 - 10. REVIEW OF LITERATURE: 11. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK: Theoretical framework consist of ideas and collection of the interconnected concept of their research study also the theoretical framework is interrelated to the research topic. ACTIVE LEARNING THEORY: By (Cynthia j.Brame,1991) for association study of higher education and eric cleaning house on higher education, active learning as an interesting oral activity that keep students busy doing things and also promoting thinking that what they are doing and why that is defined by (BONWELL AND EISON).approaches active learning is promoting on internal pupils skills and giving knowledge that requires students to do some things, as read, discuss or write that focus student to the exploration of their attitude and values this approaches also (BONWELL AND EISON in 1991 BONWELL AND EISON) broadly defined many activities may fall in it. they suggest aspect run of activities to promote active learning nearly as during lecture we allow students to give their point of view on that topic and discussing with their group and sharing their ideas to more difficult to simple. (HANDELSMAN MILLER and PFUND) also, note that in their book in science teaching that is the only method which promotes students internal skills to do something better as assessed by a simple way to understand. 12.RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: I use the qualitative method in my action research because of the method know about the weaknesses of students I check the different abilities of students and understand the knowledge about their learnings . 12.1 RESEARCH DESIGN: Consent letter. Interview tool. Lesson plan New activities for students
  • 10. - 5 - *ACTION 1: Consent letter. *ACTION 2: Interview tool. *ACTION 3: Lesson plan for students and observed with the help of the activities. *ACTION 4: New activities for students 13.DATACOLLECTION: I had to collect my research data with the help of teacher and students response observe from teacher and students through the interview tool, lesson plans and new activities. 14.TARGETPOPULATION: The population of this study observed here of the students and teacher in grade 4th students govt primary school attached with (G.E.C.E (W) COLLEGE )the total number of 15 students in the class. EFFECT OF ACTIVE BASED TEACHING METHOD IN SCIENCE THEORY: This research is base on study of students to measure the effectiveness of students based on active learnings methods in science classes this research paper also a means to know the connection teaching technique and learning of students in science class this study was measure by an achievement test (post-test) groups of students that is the focus group that given them a two chapter of the textbook. Each group has 4 students of science and that was assessed by the standard of 4th grade. The focus group thought by lecture method and demonstration method thought by the active base method. The time duration of both was 3 mints a day for 15 days after all the achievement test was conducted and the data collected the result of the demonstration method was better conclude. the active based method are effective of teaching in class science at primary is the better option. 15.INTERVIEW TOOL(thematic analysis): The research is prepared with the open-ended to the questions and the question was conducted from the teacher interview first I interviewed the teacher who taught to the 4th class of students. 16. SAMPLING DESIGN: The population of that study in action research ensued of the teacher and students at the P.C school attached with G.E.C.E (w) college hyd in class 4th.In this class, 15 students cooperate with me during the lesson plan's activity with demonstration method about

  • 13. - 8 - Discussion On themes Learning: in this step of learning process I used the different learning activities and short clips, for the students and teacher learning in this step my learnings is going very well and the students answer properly about my topic impact of active based learning for developing the interest of primary students in this step of learnings I only focus on the students and teachers knowledge and learnings. Teaching: in the teaching step I focus on the teacher and on the other hand I also focus on my teaching then I sort out the difference that what is the difference about my teaching way and the teachers teaching way so I guess the teachers only use the traditional way to teach the students and I used to teach students with different types of activities and short clips with the help of laptop because while learning from laptop student might focus on their study and they also enhance their learning and they will be able to answer properly. Performance: in the step of performance look after the children that what students understand about topic and how was their way to expressing ideas regarding the topics and how much they are able to express their ideas infront of teachers in my perspective the performance of students was 30% percent because they have learned many more about the topics and also understand the concept of science subject with the help of different activities and short clips. 19.3 ACTION 3 REPORT:TO DELIVER THE LESSON PLAN ABOUT SCIENCE WITH ACTIVE BASED LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS: Today I conducted the lesson plan for students so the first I meet the students and motivate the students to deliver the lesson plan. the first lesson plan about the science subject and the topic name is (our body parts) I delivered the lesson plan but my first lesson was not going well because of this lesson plan delivered time students were not free with me and they feel the frightfully and also feel shyness in front of me so they do not give me the clear answer about the question in this lesson plan I taught to the student with the demonstration method. then I was second deliver my new lesson plan this lesson plan also about science and the topic about (matter) in this lesson plan I am firstly talking with students states of matter like solid liquid and gas through brainstorming to motivate the students then I was announced my lesson plan topic that today we all study about states of (matter) that who gave us the water , air, and many more and I taught to the students with many different activities and also use the game based method with the help of short videos about( states of
  • 14. - 9 - matter )students watched this video and physically and mentally involved with me about my directions and after this video, I was given the worksheets to the students and said to the students that write the answers in this worksheet so this lesson was gone best because of students performances in this action. DATE:23/11/2020 Reflections, changes: After delivering of lesson plan I have observed that the students are fully interact with me and they enjoy learning through by a teaching method and demonstration method which are included with active based learning and also practical skills enhance the students enjoyment in the lesson which are fully engaged the student environment and student create cooperation through the delivery of the lesson plan and students also avoid hesitation and they easily feel free and the raised any question with interest about the things. 20. DISCUSSION: The purpose or aim of this study was to examine the to build a base for this research and answers the first thing shows that activity-based learning in science has a positive impact on the teaching process. I observed in Govt. P.C school attached with Govt Elementry College Of Education (Women) Hyderabad. previous literature has established that the students interact feeling motivations engagement, comprehension understand and achievement all affected positively due to implementation of activity-based learning method. Active base learning approach has been applied and the focus group which has been applied in the traditional learning method. This can change indicates that the active learning approach and demonstration method is effective in teaching science. Active based learning teaching method generates an ideal situation for science teaching, especially at the primary level. The present study is determined the activity-based learning method and demonstration method in science the learners are involved actively in hand on minds-on experiences and acquire on the opportunity to relate intangible concepts and theories with actual activities and observations also active based learning method helps learners to understand the science concepts students actively engaged and involved in the teaching- learning process and activities help them in their knowledge in various real-life studies the science learning education looked at the teaching-learning process.
  • 15. - 10 - 21. Conclusion: A lot of gained from active based learning education and this study, show a particular established on the merits of active based learning study when this method used in a science classroom for the development of learning was grown rapid pace in science subject. A dynamic, expending of knowledge covering in new domains in active based learning in science this demonstration method is very better approach for improve students ability and students face the challenges. The result of this study revealed that students have gain positive point towards active based approach for learning in science subject which help to developed in the interest of students and it provide lots of enjoyment and fun it is concluded that active based learning enhance learning achievements in the study of science subject. Recommendation  The use of science able to student’s community. The study of active based learning highly recommended in classroom/ schools for improvement of science knowledge and students prepare own fun/ technologies.  Teacher may also use the active learning as a teaching strategy which come to enable students to engaged in learning process rather than using traditional way.

  • 17. - 12 - APPENDIX A Consent Letter
  • 18. - 13 - APPENDIX B TRANSCRIPTION OF INTERVIEW QUESTIONNAIRE Q1:what do you do know about active based learning? A: activity-based learning is the process of learning by doing .as opposed to asking kids to simply listen and take notes, activity-based learning encourages students to actively participate in their own learning experience through practical activities such as problem- solving and independent investigation .by encouraging kids to explore, learn independently through activity-based techniques. its one of the great method in the teaching of science especially because it encourages students and teacher to particular activities which are participating by both of them. Q2:what kind of strategies active based learning do you use in the science classroom? A: a science is class is different from arts and other teaching classes because in that class we have to be active more than in other class so the active base learning is an only method to make you and pupils busy doing practically work on activity base to learn better in that way. in science class, we have to use the game-based learning, discussion, problem-solving these activities help both instructor and students to understand the learning objectives of science class. Q3:what are your selected SLOs achieved by using activity-based learning in science subject? A: yes in my action research topic I achieved SLOs by using activity-based learning in a science subject. Major parts of the body. State the functions of the major parts of the body. Describe how muscles and bones work together to move. Design matter and give examples to identify the three states of matter. Compare solid, liquid, gas on the shapes. Q4:how do you increase the understanding concepts in science? A: we can teach by practically as we do inactive base learning. Inactive base learning students will encourage to understand the concept of the topic in a way that of participants in activities which are the related to previous learning so doing such effective activities like game-based learning or doing something practically of discussion session so that they can easily understand and knows what will be going here.
  • 19. - 14 - Q5:how can you compare the achievement through science for the development of brain growth? A: learning involves a complicated interplay of factors discussed the importance of focusing on the cultural factors that influence learning. the committee explained new ways of understanding what culture is and the complex ways it influences development and learning we examine the different types of learnings to understand the variety of complex processes involved . then we discuss brain development through the life span and changes in the brain that both support learning and occur as a result. Q6:is that an activity-based learning method for developing the interest of science? Is that helpful for self-development? A: yes it is also helpful for both instructor as well students because it encourages the students to do participate in the activities in that process teacher will analysis the approach of students so then he or she can bitterly manage the environment and learning sequence of class. When the teacher knows the objective and learning goals are achieving bitterly she will be self-motivated because of activity-based learning in science class mostly we do the practical work so it will be good that students involved in activities of the class. Q7:do you enhance science education through activity-based learning? A: yes because activity-based learning is the only method which involves students to do practical activities and make interest to participate in class so the science subject is practical as well. We can not make proper understand our pupils without practical work in science subject so these both will support each other in these cases because it's effective to enhance science education throughout the activity-based learning. Q8:do we evaluate a student’s ability through different activities? A: yes we can evaluate a student throughout the activities that how much she can do work. It's a good way also to know what interest and to know whats strength and weakness of a student is because in practical activities we look at the students and easily evaluate him/her that how she is doing and how smart, intelligent she is the different activities will show off that how a student is doing work better or lazier. Q9:do you use activity-based learning in science as a life long process?
  • 20. - 15 - A: yes the activity-based learning in science as life long process it is most effective ways to deal with change is constant change in our personal lives, change in our work lives, change in our local communities, governance, associations and organizations. Q10: How can you adapt to the new learning demands? A: yes when we have a new approach, demand for teaching and learning we use the technology or necessary resources which are available according to the condition we decide new learning demands the best opportunity is online resource to enhance or face any demand or challenges in learning and teaching. Q11:any suggestion to improve the active based in a science classroom? A: yes when we are enhancing in a science classroom than we have to keep in mind that how much time is there because in activities we need a lot of time to complete the task so we have to manage it bitterly and then we have to know that how much resources are to use in the classroom for teaching in science class by active based learning and with the help of demonstration method.
