Abstract
The aim an objective of my research was to establish a different learning plan to
support the students nobody got who struggle with the acquisition of mathematics that
21st century student required both cognitive and practical the fact you can you reach
me at experience so I conduct the research on relationship between music and math
Music and aths to find out the new ways to use the music in the classroom in
mathematics I use the music as a tool to teach the mathematics and find out the
interest of students through the help of music student land more in mathematics class
and take more interest In mathematics class and take more interest
Keywords: Interest, Learning, Music, Math’s, Students

1. Backgroundof the study
The research is based on the learning of student in new way to use the music in
mathematics subject and developing the interest of the student toward mathematics
subject In this research the music is integrated in the mathematics subject in the
interest of the students learning the music plays an effective role to develop the
interest among students for the mathematics subject evidence clearly indicate that the
traditional mathematics curriculum and instructional methods are not serving students
well hybrid 1999 teaching mathematics using effective didacti strategy (vinner) 1997
2. Problem statement
The traditional method is used in the math mostly in the school the problem phase the
classroom is to integrate the content and method involving math and music as number
of the student have a difficult way of learning the music in the classroom was new for
student
3. Purpose of the study
The purpose of this research is to develop the interest in students for the mathematics
subject by using the music I want to develop an interest in students for the
mathematics because usually the student do not take interest in mathematics and they
feel boring in mathematics class I will use the music to develop the interest in these
students for mathematics subject
4. Researchobjective
The objective of the research is to find out the ways of teaching and learning of
mathematics subjects through music to develop the interest among the students for
mathematics subject these are objective of the study
 To integrate the music in the teaching of mathematics
 To know the students interest according to the learning of the mathematics
subject
 To develop the students performance in the mathematics subject with the
integration of music
Relationshipbetweenmusicandmath’sinthe interestof studentslearning /2
5. Researchquestions
 What are the music strategies used to creating interest in students toward the
mathematics subject
 Is music as a tool effective for the students learning and for developing
interest in mathematics
6. Scope ofthe study
The scope of the study is in relationship between music and mathematics in
Manchester students learning is that I observe their student who loved to learn with
the help of music and develop the learning the music is a very effective tool for the
learning mathematics because usually this subject is boring for the students an
integration of music in mathematics is a very interesting for the students
7. Important significance
 This is search help the teacher to teach the mathematics through use of music
student take more interest in mathematics
 The use of music in mathematics increase the student learning
 By using the music the music in the classroom the student the decks
parliament’s other subject to enhance their learning
8. Review literature
8.1 Theoretical framework
In this research I developed a relationship between music and mathematics in the
interest of students learning the theoretical framework is based on the teaching that
mathematics subject in the integration of music at develop the interest of students
learning I have read that theories on the learning with music I did multiple
intelligence by Howard Gardner 1983 in this theory he explained the eight stages of
landing of the student I study stage musical intelligence of Howard Gardner’s and I
used the music as a tool work on the musical intelligence
9. Researchmethodology
The qualitative method of research applied I used to introduce to collect the
information according to the problem faced in the classroom I used the 10 question
tool I will Use before and after I use qualitative method and this research is time
bound that’s why I use transactional under deductive approach in my action research
Relationshipbetweenmusicandmath’sinthe interestof studentslearning /3
9.1 Research design
I conduct my action research in primary school and work with primary level students I
require the data about the learning of students through the music I need the two
months time period for my research I used the musical tools to overcome the
difficulties of students according to math subject and try to improve the steps taken
previously I applied the activities to enhance the self confidence of the students
10. Targeted population
I target the 3-4 students in the class to do my research
11. Researchframework
I used to conduct the research on the topic relationship between music and maths and
I have read the many articles related to my topic I learned the strategies used by the
other Anne and Implement in my research I also done some activities according to my
topic
12. Sampling design
I choose the for students to apply my strategies in integrate the music in the music and

see the changes an improvement in their students learning
12.1 Method of sampling
I choose the simple random sampling to do my research in classroom
12.2 Sample size
I choose the 10 students to do my research
13. Data collection
I collect the data with the worksheets an interview tool for collection the data
14. Instrument tool
I used the music tool drum drumstick
15. Data interpretation and analysis
I use that Ms Word to right the descriptive research and also uses the I must Excel to
interpret ate Data and also use the bar graph for easy understanding of the data.
15.1 Action 1 report about reconnaissance
Firstly I conduct the meeting with my supervisor and discuss the topic with her and
discuss the planning and take the suggestions from her after that I went to the PC
Sunday school attached with G.E.C.E (W) Hyderabad to meet with the principal of
pieces in the school she is much experience in teaching and mathematics she gave me
some guidelines to do my action research and also suggest me some ways to teach my
students
15.2 Action 2 Interview
I conduct the interview with my school teacher then I observed that the classroom
During the teaching of mathematics by their own teacher in traditional method then I
deliver my lesson with the music integration and observed that the difference in
traditional music
integrated mathematics lesson and note down the Changes and difference took place
in the learning of the students and their interest toward the mathematics

15.5 Discussion on themes
Students learning
This team is very important for the researcher Study where the researcher under
respondent giving opinion about music and mathematics as a tool And give best
knowledge about music and mathematics There is no use of musical instruments
because the school have lack of resources that’s why it’s shown in the diagram 20%
of the students learning But when I teach students with the musical instruments their
students automatically Bing interest in the learning that’s why their interest will be
enhanced
Teaching
The teaching was based on the integration mathematics subject to make the subject
interesting and develop the students learning teaching was very effective and good it
shown that 60% teacher teaching in classroom

16. Action 3
I use the musical tools like drumstick to teach the mathematics in the classroom I used
to teach the addition subtraction a counting through the music and observe the
students landing in write down the changes in the students learning
16. Discussion
The research was conducted in pc sindhi school I learn from my supervisor after that I
want to go knowledge about the teaching the mathematics in traditional way and
result and responses of the students , so I took the interview of mathematics teacher
who was much experienced and I got much information from her which help me in
the research and then I use to observe the students in the mathematics class to know
more about the students interest and where they don’t take interest in mathematics
class in worked on that and after that music tool to engage the students in
mathematics subject the students take interest and they want to learn more because
they were enjoying the music and that was a new for them.
16.1 Conclusion
The research was conducted in a good manner and I observed much about the
teaching mathematics with the integration of music students also take interest in
subject because of the music it was new for them music help the students in
mathematics learning in easy way
16.2 Recommendation
I recommended the future researcher that work on the integration of music in the
maths and also give the students chance to give there views about maths and music in
the classroom, because in this way we will know the further need of students to
enhance the interest of students toward mathematics
