 NCF-2005 means National Curriculum Framework 2005.
 NCF-2005 states that good science education is
 True to child :-
Science we teach should be -
1)Understandable 2) engaging 3)meaningful 4) joyful
to student/child while learning.
 True to life :-
Science we teach should -
1) 1) relate to child’s environment 2) prepare for work
2) 3) promote concerns of life 4) preservation of environment
 True to science :-
Science we teach should -
1) 1) Convey significant aspects of science content.
• 2) at appropriate level .
1) 3) engage the child in learning process of acquiring and validating scientific knowledge. 2

 To involve student in group activities, discussion, survey of neighbourhood, display in
exhibitions.

 To involve student to work in locally significant projects involving science and
technology.
