3. Research
• The strengths of my research where I found a lot of kits that I took
inspiration off which helped for my final design. I looked at websites such
as the Manchester united one and took inspiration from that which helped
me with my website design. I found a bunch of different kits, so I did a
questionnaire and the majority said they didn’t want collars, so I made
sure not to research kits with collars. Half my audience said they prefer
the shoulder/sleeve of the kit to be different from the main part and the
other half said they prefer the whole kit to be the same colour, so I
researched kits with both to give myself a mix. The strengths of my
research where it helped me with the creation of website and kit. A
weakness was I could have researched more websites and if I did this, I
could have made my final product look better. I'm happy with the chunk of
research I did.
4. Planning
• I planned it out pretty well I spent a decent amount of time on planning
but not too much time. The planning helped with my final product as I
planned out what it will look by making scrap versions of them on
photoshop and improving them for my final product. A strength of my
planning was it gave me the opportunity to make scrap copies of my kits
this helped massively. A weakness is I didn’t do as much scrap kits as I
would’ve liked too and I also didn’t do a scrap website copy which I
would’ve liked to do. I think I did a good chunk of planning but would’ve
wanted to do more.
5. Time Management
• I managed my time very well. I didn’t fall behind at all and stay on track
throughout the whole project. I think my work looks good when taking in
the time I’ve had to do the work. If I had more time I probably would’ve
added more to the website spreadsheets and maybe added a few more
details on to the kit but other than that I think I did a good job. I created
the kits very quickly they all only took four lessons to do. The two website
spreadsheets took a while to make though as they took 10 lessons to
complete. On the whole I thought I managed my time well.
6. Technical Qualities
I took inspiration for my piece of work from
the official United account
I kept the United
direct part at the
top but replaced
United with
untied
I put the kits I
made on show
like the United
website did
I put a discount on
my website
spreadsheet like
United did
7. Aesthetic Qualities
I like the way both my kits and website spreadsheets have turned out. I think it was
pretty creative as I was the only person who did it. The thing I like most about my project
is the kits and how I laid them out on the website. I would improve it by adding a few
more details on the website.
The strengths:
The kits are well laid out
The websites look realistic
The kits are good colours
I used the stamp tool to make It look as professional as possible and think
By doing this I made it look like a real website
The weaknesses:
Not enough detail
8. Audience Appeal
I appealed to my target audience by making it purely about the football kits. I believe
the content that would appeal most to my target audience is the part where I've put
the prices. On my questionnaire the vast majority said they prefer kits with red then
some said blue and then some said white, so I believe I have achieved this and I think
they will be happy with how it turned out. Half said they prefer the shoulder/sleeve of
the kit to be different from the main part and the other half said they prefer the
whole kit to be the same colour, so I made both. They said they don’t like kits with
collars, so I made sure not to put a collar on any of the kits I created. My target
audience is for people aged 3+, either gender, middle class and the emulators
psychographic. I intended to make it appropriate for everyone of
these viewers by adding the best colours possible to them and
making it look professional and I believe I manged to do this.

13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback? I agree with I should have added
more detail
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
• None of it
14. Peer Feedback Summary
I would add a lot more detail to the website and I would also add in
more colour as it does look quite bland but also not too much as I
don’t want it to look unprofessional. I would do this by adding
colour on the website around the kits to give it a bit of personality
as it looks bland and a bit of background colour could change that
and also keep it professional. I would also add more text to the
website like explanations of the kits so people can get a good
understanding of them and believe it would be helpful.
