1 Objective:
Design an open loop Cuk converter and simulate it. The specifications for the converter are given
below: Input Voltage (Vin): 70 V; Duty Ratio (D): 0.7; Switching Frequency (fsw): 15 kHz; Voltage
Ripple across both Capacitors (∆Vo): 5%; Current Ripple through both Inductors (∆IL): 10%;
Load resistance (RL=10Ω).
2 Buck Boost Converter Design:
2.1 Filter inductor
• The inductor value is calculated using the given ripple in both inductor current as 10%:

• Therefore, the value of the inductor L1=857microHandL2 = 2microH.
2.2 Filter Capacitor
• The capacitor value is calculated using the given output voltage ripple as 5%:
